Im looking at the thumbnail like who is this white chick named Ameera.
shyt is crazy how many of us got Arab names do to nikkas parents being muslim especially up north in Jersey, Philly,NYC etc.
Grew up wit and know so many Amir's, Kareem's Abdul's,Malik's,Rasheed's,rasheeda's,Ameera's,Laila's Etc

Kev has sass cause of his upbringing but there is still a level of humbleness in him (i attribute it to surviving cancer + age, where he understands tomorrow isnt promised), Anton is always in character from my observation.

I'm gonna answer the question because I've been around these kinda women. The family will feel some sort of way EVEN if the black man is Muslim. The only way they accept him if he's extremely successful and he's humble or breaks them off some change.

Don't let this chick fool you all.

I know.

It goes the same for all non-black families.. and even some black families from different cultures.

The man has to be "high-value" (make good money, pro athlete, doctor, lawyer, engineer etc) for the family to accept them.. and even then they might not be fully accepted.

Won't catch me impregnating no Indian or middle eastern chick, their family will kidnap the baby and have them raised in only their culture and not yours.

How old are you? lol NOI + Pan Africanism in particular was a big reason for this (people choosing Muslim names or African names). You had a big thing with Baby Boomers changing their name when they got knowledge of self + Gen Xers being given those names because their parents were part of these movements during their pivotal (40s-50s).

Alot of NE culture is rooted in NOI teachings "Word is Bond", calling folks beloved, etc
