KS supports college, his daughter is in college. He is just saying that you need to do both. M-F in the lab, writing papers--- what have you. But Friday and Saturday night you need to be dating and dating older men who WANT to get married. Cash in your chips when you are young and beautiful.
A) Getting married =/= not being able to finish your PhD.
B) To answer the next question if they were married they wouldn't be calling him for advice.

you're not understanding KS is speaking from having ideal situations for families to raise kids. Not the struggle survival maintain poverty alot of us grew up in.
So, 400k. roughly calculating taxes and deductions you're looking at 250-260k in NY/DMV/ATL/TX/CA, the big cities he always references.
Then you have to spend money on your normal expenses for lets say a family of 4...which includes DEBT. if you want a safe place to live in those cities/areas, that's 24 to 36k a year whether you rent or buy. Then if you have a home there's upkeep. You and your wife won't be driving pintos, so that can be 15-20k a year right there. Daycare for kids can be 10-20k a year for 2 kids. right there you've spent 50-75k already.
Average college tuition is over 20k per year. In 18 years that’s gonna be over 40k. 4 kids is somewhere in the 500k range. Housing where each child gets a room. 4 kids is at least a 5-6 bedroom home. Most of these folks are in cities. Even in Houston or Atlanta we talking >400k for good schools. 4 cars at 16th birthday. I’m not putting my daughter in a beater. Next, she gonna want to do vacations. Bali and Dubai for 6 people, tickets alone 15k. They don’t east at Chili’s they want Ruth Chris and Whole Foods.

People are forgetting the biggest thing. DEBT. even though someone can make well into the 6 figures, they live above means. that 400k salary will have someone trying to buy a million dollar house and we all have to remember 30 years ago was THIRTY years ago. And people forget about taxes and deductions thats usually 30-35% of your gross pay gone. 110k (from the 168k) can get ate up real quick by a mortgage, car notes and insurance, child care, debt, college etc. these big salaries are foreign to most people, and to comfortably afford all the EXTRA things most modern adults feel they deserve costs monry. check this out.

Of course, you have to eat.
And then a LOT of people have CC and student loan debt, that can easily be another 6-8k per year.
So that stuff can chop off 30-35k off your 110k, and that INCREASES if you have a wife and even 1 kid. Everyone always defaults to how much help you have or can get...KS is talking about paying for everything that you need instead of relying on family.
I don't know how many times this has to be repeated in this thread, but most women that call KS want to live the Basketball Wives/Love n Hiphop/social media stunting lifestyle. They don't want a modest Toyota corolla or Honda. They wanna push the lexx coupe. They don't want the 1 stateside family vacation a year. They wanna go overseas every other month. They don't wanna take care of the kids and home. They want a nanny. They want their kids to have college funds and have a car by highschool. The list can go on.

Like I said earlier, they wanna work for 5-10 years, then their bodies are worn down and they're just plain tired of working and now want us to take of them with their elevated overall standards.
