Knicks don’t need to do this. Even tho Wall would help a lot of teams. That contract is the issue.

They need a PG that can run an offense. Lowry and CP3 aren't signing with the Knicks. Rose is a FA and is probably suited better to leading the second unit off the bench at around 20-25MPG.

You just want his contract off Houston's payroll :russ:
His contract don’t bother me. We’re in a rebuild . My issue is Tilman will be cheap and try to to trade it for another cheaper but longer contract and keep kicking the can. I just want to eat it and let it expire. We going from CP3 to Russ to wall.
I don’t want Wall to turn into Bledsoe. It’s only two years. One and one really. It’s doubtful he’ll reject his player option. But a possibility. Just eat the two years and build from there. His final year we can buyout

There's not really any bad contracts out there to trade Wall for. The only one that was available was Westbrook's hence it was the best deal on the table that both parties were going to get for said players.

Ppl said the same thing about CP3

True from a financial standpoint. I don’t think it’s the same in terms of impact. Who knows tho? I thought Conley was past his prime and he’s been great for Utah.

Maybe. I’d go after Lowry first tho if he’s on the market.

In hindsight, CP3's contract actually hasn't aged that bad compared to his other peers. The rare scenario of a player that will be able to opt out of $40+ million dollars and get more on the open market.

Instead of giving out sweetners for others to take on his contract, OKC was actually able to get positive assets in return for sending him out.
