Should Knicks do this?

John Wall should've been further in his career. He's getting old. Better off getting someone like Lonzo. Plus he's younger and still has potential, look how well he played later on in New Orleans.

I'd only do this, with the expectation that John Wall is going to be a number 2, and we're getting a number 1 in in next season's free agency. I don't think the Knicks should do anything drastic for results next season, I expect them to still be a mid-eastern conference team, but hopefully some of those young players get another good year of experience under their belt.

They should have traded for Ball at the deadline :hubie:

are the Pelicans planning on signing and trading him or even just keeping him? Actually I don't know what they are doing. I just know I assumed they were going to hire a younger coach and they said fuk that.

So the obvious answer to that is to go get a guy on a max contract who has worse knees than Derrick Rose.

If you watched them play this season(or the last season or seasons before that), it's clear they need someone to facilitate that offense not named Julius Randle. They don't have internal options and seem allergic to drafting one so while bringing in Wall isn't at the top of the list I understand why it would be done logically

They drafted Lewis last year but I don't think they just let Lonzo walk for nothing... they'd probably match any offer in RFA
