Kobe played in the triangle in 2005-06 dummy. Phil was the head coach.
I didn’t say that he wasn’t in the triangle in 05-06 you illiterate ass bytch. I said that even when he wasn’t in the triangle he wasn’t putting up Lebron type numbers. Even his most impressive individual statistical season wasn’t as impressive as Lebron’s same season.

The rest of your post was nothing but that tired ass “you don’t watch basketball” shyt which I’m done even entertaining. It’s clear that you don’t understand basketball and you’re just a fakkit with a crush and an agenda who will literally say anything to serve it.

But the stats and numbers say your toughest matchup was Lebron. Every time you played him your numbers and percentages dropped drastically. Similar to the way Demar Derozan's numbers drop when facing Lebron. It's why struggled to beat him time after time after time after time again. He pretty much owned your entire life and outplayed you every single time.

I wonder how many rings Demar would have won with Prime Shaq if this was all he had to put up.....He would probably be looked at in a different light

2000 NBA Finals

Shaq- 38 PPG, 17 RPG, 2.5 APG, 2.7 BPG, 61% FG 96/157----6 games
Kobe-16 PPG, 5 RPG, 4 APG, 1.4 BPG, 36% FG%, 33/90----5 games

2001 NBA Finals

Shaq- 33 PPG, 16 RPG, 5 APG, 3.5 BPG, 63/110 57% FG-----5 games
Kobe- 24 PPG, 8 RPG, 6 APG, 1.4 BPG, 44/106 41% FG------5 games

Steph Curry could dominate in 2k...before the general public was on his nuts in the NBA. People considered it a "cheese team" with him and Monta Ellis getting crazy around the arch.

Once Steph got with Kerr people then realized Steph was as good as his 2k character.

He never had a team built around him like LeBron with shooters and spacing. In 2012-13, 34 year old Kobe with Mike D'Antoni put up 27/6/6 and he did that with Dwight Howard and Pau Gasol clogging the paint.

What do you think 24 year old Kobe could do playing for D'Antoni and surrounded with shooters and no bigs clogging the paint?

He would EASILY match any numbers LeBron put up. Especially if you tell him that's the goal rather than winning. Kobe grew up in a generation where winning was the measure of greatness not box scores and analytics. If he only had stats to worry about, he would easily average 30/8/8 every season.

We’ve already established that lebron wasn’t playing with shooters/spacing in Cleveland during his first run with the team. In ‘09 lebron was playing with Z, Verajao, Delonte, and Mo. He was still putting up better numbers than Kobe ever has while leading the team to overachieve.

Invalid point.

You’re 1 of the most bytchmade dumbest motherfukkers on this site. Lebron has led a championship contending team every year since his 4th season. Even in his 3rd year he led his team to a 7 game series against that championship pistons squad. There’s never been a time where lebron had the luxury of playing for stats with the luxury of not having to worry about winning. The man has been to 8 straight finals.

You have no integrity at all. You’re a genuine piece of shyt and you’re a gotdamn c00n. :pacspit:

That 09 team had shooters dummy. What else is Mo Williams, Delonte, and even Z as a big could shoot. They didn't have 2 back to the basket bigs like Dwight and Gasol clogging the paint.

You also keep ignoring the fact Kobe was 34 during that time and past his prime. And still put up some of the best numbers of his career at 27/6/6.

If old Kobe could do that with a team not suited to play D'Antoni's style, imagine what 24 year old Kobe could do?

At 24, Kobe averaged 30/7/6 in the triangle offense while playing with Shaq. Just chew on that for a second.

This exchange started with me simply asking what more lebron could have done in that 09 ecf finals past what he did do, and youve turned this into a "well kobe couldve did it too......" argument. Thats just how obsessed you are with kobe. All of your basketball opinions regarding lebron are slanted by your groupie love of kobe.

You're still wrong. A 24 year old lebron would shoot way above 50% and average damn near 10 assists on top of averaging 25+ playing next to a prime shaq in that era. Kobe never shot 50% for a season in his entire career despite playing with multiple dominant low post big men that commanded double teams. Despite playing in the same system most of his career. Despite playing for the same coach who many think is one of the greatest coaches ever, for most of his career.

Its laughable that you talk about the talent that kobe played with and the system that he played in as if it somehow hurt kobe and his career. The only thing that saved kobe from being ai,tmac, etc is him being a laker who got to play with shaq and for phil. Had he not got traded from charlotte on draft night he'd likely be ringless and thought of a lot differently.
