I wholeheartedly agree. Context is huge, but no one takes the time to discuss that. Kobe's thing was that we shouldn't just ride with somebody because they're black without knowing everything that happened. I don't think there's anything wrong with that, but when the shyt first came to light, it was explicitly said that he was unarmed and a non cop shot him and the cops didn't do shyt to shooter. To not even investigage was disgusting. The fact that the cops weren't even gonna do shyt until it blew up on social media says alot.

Now once the facts came out and he got off, I don't think anyone was happy with the verdict. The fukkin jurors even said so!!!

Nobody rides for someone just because they're black without something to make them do so. You don't see nikkaz supporting mufukkaz caught on tape robbing a place and talking about "wait and see until the facts come out" do you?

It's all fine and dandy to play the wait and see until we have all the facts route, which is right in theory, but the same isn't done for us all the time. That's why I don't agree with Kobe's stance.
