Why KP catching feelings? Where does he think he deserves to be? This guy shows immense offensive talent but he can't stay on the court because he gets banged up easily and doesn't know how to play defense without fouling. Of course he's not untouchable. fukk outta here. I honestly think it's his brother putting all this garbage into his head.
I don't expect a championship outta Phil. He's here to change the culture to lay a foundation going forward. These players just want to use the Knicks to get paid and play for future contracts, so of course they want to resist the triangle, what Phil is trying to do is dead all that. If you don't like it here, bounce, we'll keep drafting young players and as time goes on we'll have a squad willing to be coached to play the right way.
Resigning Melo was a mistake, but I think the aim this year was to develop KP and make the playoffs at least. I do believe Phil when he said the NTC was a business tactic and that it came alongside some mutual understanding with Melo. Melo got what he wanted contract wise, but I think he kinda reneged on the deal by continuing to stay stuck in his old ways. SO now it's time to move the fukk on. No hate for Melo but it's just time. Bounce b.
If Phil didn't resign Melo it would be seen as an immense failure and the narrative would be all about how Phil can't get things done, nobody wants to play for the knicks, blah blah blah. But now it's seen as a blunder that he resigned him. Noah signing was a bigger blunder and he does deserve flak for that, but it's not Eddy Curry levels of bad since the cap is gonna be higher anyway.
People want to shyt on Phil but he drafted KP, Willy looks good, we got a high pick this year....what's the fukking problem? Knicks fans act like we deserve a championship overnight. We don't deserve shyt.
