Yea, I highly doubt that.
Those things are meant to be supplements.
only if you're determined to sit in class

for a large portion of the world, that simply ain't an option. and folks still find ways to develop skills and educate themselves with a fraction of the accessibility.
You're talking about IT. There's more than just IT jobs out there.
no. im not.

and i got no idea how or why 'certs' turned into just some IT thing.

you want to get a degree in computer science? too bad you gotta spend a grip and waste months 'learning' shyt like old american literature and music

imagine buying a car and the dealership saying you gotta pay for a tree and a TV first

Please tell me which "certs" will help provide you a career in the business community(consulting, finance, HR, accounting, etc.) over a degree.

Engineering? Health/medicine? Law? Which certs?

A large portion of the world is not logging on to youtube to learn how to master calculus. Stop it.
If you want to learn math, why would you not go to a place where you can learn and hone your skills.

That's like trying to be a pro basketball player by learning drills off of youtube but avoiding going to camps or signing up for any kind of teams. Who does that? :dahell:

You actually do need school just to build your basic fundamentals....learn to read/write/understand math. Even if you are going to be a professional athlete, you need to be able to think for yourself or risk getting finessed financially, relationship wise, etc.

Obviously nikkas that aint going to the league need to keep that ass in school

you really asking what type of cert can make you money :dahell:the "business community" is anywhere you make money unless you trying to allude to something else - and even WITH a degree, you're still going to need licensure, certification, and endorsement. spending 4 years collecting debt and generally zero work experience learning from a majority of folks who are at best largely removed from the workforce you're trying to enter?

the problem is people think that's normal

come out of college and can't even use excel and never heard of SAS :mjlol: see it in every other interview

why wouldn't you go? because many simply can't

and people wonder why so many jobs, not just unskilled factory shyt, took off and ain't coming back :dead: americans getting their plate snatched in all kinds of ways and don't even realize it. companies would rather pay someone to live good by their standards across the world than invest in growing a fresh college grad here

Yes. I'd like to know. Which certs will put you on the path to success in business(ie consulting, finance, HR, accounting, etc.), law, engineering, health/medicine without a college degree?

don't get selective with the quotes and adding new qualifiers after edits  obviously you're not starting a law firm without law school

the ether
Bro I studied electrical engineering and currently work as one. What they teach you in college and what you actually do on the field are 2 completely different things. That is why I say it’s essentially useless and doesn’t really prepare you for the job

I already said that I wasn't talking about the job. I'm saying that if you don't learn shyt in damn near every class you take then you're wasting the clear opportunities you're being given. I learned shyt in every class. Even when it wasn't task-specific when it comes to work responsibilities, some of it still applied to work (problem-solving skills, time management, ways of conceptualizing systems, developing robust vocab around tech topics) and all of it applied to the rest of life.

So are you going to answer the question?
when you stop changing it and give up pretending 'business community' is some giant formless yet exclusive club lol. you inserted health and stuff QUICK in that edit :russ:

a highly specialized field like engineering/medicine/law is NOT the same as making money within any business - and 'certs' can mean anything from permissions to sell to managing accounts to language proficiency etc. you can google a license, cert, or endorsement, etc for each. all ways to make money for yourself and get your foot in the door that get you moving forward faster than sitting in classes that won't ever matter that you still pay for.
