i cant really view nas and jay on the same level
i have tons of respect for jay. he worked hard not just hustling but working his way up through jaz, kane, big L, and hooking up with dame
. he moves smart and seems to always make the right moves... first rap billionaire, put out an excellent 'grown man' rap album in 4:44 (nas did it first 
with Life Is Good), and can be downright nasty on the mic and when on point, his wordplay is second to none
but nas is an ARTIST. even to this day jay swings off nas's nuts. jay is a gifted hustler but nas is an artist. jay will never be that.
