I believe the first step is to get money out of politics, to overturn court decisions such as citizens united. Then you have half a chance of getting a government that represents the will of the people. Failing that, Tariq Nashhed's Idea of black people pooling their resources to create their own lobbyists to lobby on behalf of black issues, like other minorities such as Asians do.
