I'm saying he needs to accept that he's not gonna get a star gift wrapped for him. If he thinks Love is expendable, cool. At best you'll get Bledsoe back. Kyrie is a bit trickier because Kyrie is all they can move forward with when LeBron is done in Cleveland again. Do I think the two of them could have gotten them PG13, Butler and a two way PG? At best you get one of those things at the expense of your 2nd and 3rd best players so even at best, the improvements would only be marginal.

Were you not following the trade talks?

Butler for Love appeared available before the trade deadline AND during the summer. Griffin was trying to get it through when he was fired.

The out-of-this-world one was a three-team trade that got them PG13 and Bledsoe for Kyrie and a bench player (either Frye or Shump it sounded like). Gilbert supposedly could have made the deal happen but wouldn't pull the trigger unless he could leverage it to get Lebron to commit to a long-term extension.

They were both basically the deals I had advocated for, though I thought they would go for PG13 and Teague rather than PG13 and Bledsoe.

I mean, look at what it eventually took to get Butler and PG13 - Lavine, Oladipo, and a moderate move up in the draft from #16 to #7. You CAN'T tell me that Kyrie and Love aren't worth a good bit more than Lavine and Oladipo.

I guess Korver since if he's open he can still hit from deep. The rest of those guys shouldn't be in someone's rotation if the team is hoping to compete for titles.

Korver such a liability on defense though. Just horrific.

I actually like Shump better, though he keeps letting me down over and over again.

I think that Korver and Shump could be real pieces of a decent bench IF they were part of a five-man crew that worked well together. It's the fact that they're supposed to be the two best players on a bench with major deficits that causes issues.

Delly-Shump-Korver-Frye-Bogut would actually have been a capable bench if Bogut was mobile enough to set screens and protect the rim well. Let Lebron run with that crew and they would cause problems.

This thread proves people's resentment for Bron clouds all logic

11 damn pages of people repeating the same damn thing "he built this team, it's his fault" :mindblown:

Yeah, 3 finals and a chip sure is bad team building :heh:

11 pages and not ONE mention of how STUPID and UNPROFFESIONAL it is for an owner to not resign the GM that did everything to help make the team a contender and was STILL working hard at it until the final hour when he realized he was basically fired

Then go the whole summer when many other contenders are getting better and trying to actually COMPETE with the Warriors WITHOUT AN OFFICIAL GM!:why::what::gucci:

11 pages and not ONE mention of this???

I understand hating a player but damn:scust:

Basketball talk on the Coli is trash cause nikkas come from an emotional base with it. Nothing but blind hate.
Most of these dudes are clowns who are scared of women so of course they gonna go emotional at everything dealing with common sense much less Bron..

The Coli is trash

If you're trading for Love, you're not rebuilding though. Chicago got what they got because they're rebuilding. Chicago can't justify that direction while acquiring Love. Indiana is kinda doing the same thing (with Oladipo being a draw for them as a former Hoosier). The only team that had a legit interest in Love regardless of fit was Phoenix and then they fell back altogether.

At the end the day this is what it comes down to.
I don't think these posters on here don't realize the effect of KD (2nd best player...the best....new kang....untimate bytch made servant...whatever u wanna call him) going to a 73-win, best ever record having already stacked talent team....it made Warriors way superior over the league. They got next 2 championships most def unless my Lakers accend more rapidly than we think...

What has Cleveland been with him? What has Cleveland been without him? You fools act like they been some type of competitive franchise. They ain't been shyt since Mark price was starting at point. Then NOBODY talks bout this idiot Dan Gilbert who seems to be immune to w wanting to win, the same guy who didn't want to package JJ fukking Hickson to get a prime STAT. Keep blaming Bron cause your hate.

I like how yall blame Gilbert for not wanting to win while he pays a historic tax. :mjlol:

What did he expect CLE to go out and do?

Trade away future 1st Rounders to appease a guy that's not locked into a long term deal with them? If Lebron got what he wanted, the Cavs would have been out there looking like the Brooklyn Nets with no 1st Rounders for the next 5-8 years. And after the moves were made and they lost again in the postseason, they would have watched Lebron leave along with Kyrie and Love eventually without picks to even start over.

This guy is selfish as fukk and will straight up renegade an organization's flexibility and future with the most short sited deals ever.

LeBron's interests and the Cavaliers' interests are not the same. They're idiots if they keep listening to him.

Golden State basically retained their own guys. They added Casspi, Young and spent $3 mil to get Bell. Cleveland brought in their own 2nd rounder from a couple of years ago in Osman and brought in Calderon and Jeff Green. Everyone else on the Cavs is more valuable to them than to anyone else. LeBron is having trouble understanding that.
