Maybe it's because we disagree on what beautiful style of basketball looks like.Bron's entire game is unappealing.
Its one of biggest reasons I'm sure his stans don't love basketball. Its hard for me to ever imagine I would stan an athlete who doesn't have a beautiful style of play.
Only pretty part of LeBron game is his layups, his dunks are simple as fukk but his layups be beautiful.By itself it is lol. It's the threat of him bulldozing to the paint or a play setting up and him making that right pass that keeps defenders from completely selling out to stop it. His versatility makes it work.
Are you a stan? Cause that's what I was alluding to. I respect LeBron as a basketball player. I'll watch him play when its a big game. But I can't bring myself to stan him cause his game simply doesn't have the same appeal guys like Kobe, Jordan, T-Mac, Iverson, Vince, and Wade had to me. I can go to YouTube and watch highlights of those guys for days. I can't do that with LeBron. His highlights simply don't have the same appeal.
And this isn't to single out LeBron. Almost all NBA players have unappealing/ugly games. Duncan was boring to watch. Same with Dirk and most other bigs. I personally hate the style of play of a Steph Curry. KD for as skilled as he is doesn't appeal much to me either. Same goes for Russell Westbrook eventhough I love watching him in the open court. James Harden has arguably the ugliest game of any NBA player I've ever seen. And so on. Bron isn't alone. What's rare in today's NBA is players with beautiful games. The only guy whose game I consider appealing is Kyrie. And even he doesn't play with the sort of elite athleticism the guys I named earlier played with so he's not exactly must watch TV to me. Ugly styles of play are what is common in today's NBA.
This question is broad and irrelevant. The 60s and 70s played at a pace were just now somewhat catching up to. You, me, and everybody's mama would watch to see high scoring games. If you're talking about the game being post-oriented, yes.Ok. I have one question, answer it honestly. If the NBA decided to outlaw the current style of play. and forced the players to not only dibble but take on the style of 60s-70s would you still continue to watch?

None of this has anything to with LeBron's lookoff move being effective or not, nor you using a player with nowhere near a GOAT-level trajectory or resume to explain to me why a player's game should be extra pretty to be a GOAT when that wasn't even the topic of the thread in the first place.

I'm a Bron stan but his game is ugly to me. His game is a lot more effective than pretty.
Jordan
Kyrie
Olajuwon
KD
Kobe
McGrady
Paul George
All are masters of aesthetics with MJ mastering aesthetics and effectiveness. GOAT. Kids are camp machines now and a lot of them play like they're running drills. But it's good to see guys like Morant on the rise
You asked a broad irrelevant question with a pre-desired answer. Not my fault.you completely missed the question. I’m done here, i yield my time![]()
that's a very solid % its the equivalent of shooting 54% from the 2.
Shooting 36%outside of 3ft = 54% from the 2? That makes no sense.
