And yet Kobe for all his beauty and skills shot 36.7% FG (69-188), 23.6% 3FG (13-55) in the 4th quarter of all the NBA finals he was in. In fact, in the 7 finals he played in total the man shot 41% and 31% from 3.
So much beauty... :scust:

LeBron is the ultimate pick your poison player. In theory a number of things should be easy to stop but reality is its gotta be more difficult than armchair analysis says it is...

And Kobe's BBIQ is golden, but his statement about how "easy" to stop Bron comes off as bravado. Besides the exhibition scrimmages or games that people love to cite, Bean didn't exactly have a great success rate of stopping Bron so I've always taken his comment to be strictly bravado and IQ-based, not results-driven...

Exactly, It's hard to find more 1 sided head to head match-ups between stars than Lebron vs Kobe.

Defenders conundrum:

A) press up closer on Bron and have him blow right by you OR push you out of the way with his body

B) is he looking to display an amazing pass with his vision? He can make a great pass across the court in a split second.

C) give him space and he can hit a deep 3( especially if he HOT)

Nothing about Bron is easy to guard.
Stop with armchair analysts.

I think his finals record shows that people do figure out more often than not. I remember Jason Terry and JJ Barea had him figured out in 2011.
