It’s closer than most want to give because the windows are so much tighter for Jolie. That’s why I’m so high on Bird and Magic passing

It'll be interesting to see folks' perceptions change around Jokic when they see him in direct comparison with Bron in a series.

The same thing I said back then is still true. Jokic is a fantastic passer, but he has less range. Bron can make every pass Jokic can make, but Jokic can't make every pass Bron can make.

This pass is not in Jokic's bag:

Jokic ain't doing this:

But he makes all the Jokic-style passes too:

@Dwight Howard , since you apparently hadn't watched Bron play basketball before, did you at least watch tonight?

Threatening from up top and then hitting Kuzma cutting to the lane. Backing guys down and then finding the open man out of the high post. No-hesitation underhand swing-scoop the second the ball hit his hands. Drive to the hole to draw in the rim-protector and then dish to the man he just left for a dunk. Quite a few assists that didn't fit your "drive and kick" narrative.

Between LBJ and Jokic, LBJ probably had 1-10 of the ten most memorable assists on the night.

Rondo was the only one who challenged him in that department. :wow:

Hmmm....haven't we seen this movie already? That post was from the last time they faced each other in a series and there was zero retort. Bron was clearly the best passer on the court during that series. What convinces people it's going to be different this time around?
