No. Niqqas are talking expansion saying it allowed lower quality players who couldn't find jobs in the 80s a job opportunity.

The 80s doesn't produce a John grocery bagger Starks.

Stop creating trash rebuttals where"making noise" angles is a point. That's rubbish. LOL.

Expansion gave 13 year vets another job.

But.... there were only TWO expansion teams that came out in the 90's and that was the Raptors and the Grizzlies. Technically, if I am not mistaken... there were MORE teams to emerge in the 80's.. So the 80's started diluting the game??? This logic you are pulling out your ass makes ZERO SENSE.

If the case was the Grizzlies came out the BOX and ended up in the finals against the Bulls... maybe that would of been an valid argument.. but TWO TEAMS and suddenly the entire LEAGUE sucks because of 60 extra players give or take? That tarnished the league.... nikka you sounding as dumb as rocks right now.

Expansion started in 88 through the 90s combined with the expansion of free agency moving players around. It gave good teams a shorter shelf life and players who wouldn't have had a job years earlier another opportunity.

If you think there wasn't a drop in play from what I ACTUALLY WATCHED in the 80s with all that happening, you prove that you weren't there and are speaking on non experienced beliefs.

Jazz weren't underachievers. They just had to face stacked ass 80s teams. 80s squads were stacked and free agency wasn't as prominent to rape good teams.

It was really unfair for teams like the 80s Mavs, Jazz, Bucks and Rockets. Those teams would have wrecked shop in the 90s but had the misfortune of facing staked 80s squads yet still gave them trouble.

Ralph Sampson prayer was bullshyt.
Youre overrating these 80s teams severely. Maybe its in reaction to u feeling cat s are overrating 90s teams

We're talking about during the time the BULLS were dominating... don't trying to talk about expansion teams during the periods of when the LAKERS and the PISTONS were running the league... or are you implying those championships by THEM weren't legit because it came during a huge expansion increase during those years of 88 and 89.... like I said.. you making dumb argument that mean jack shyt.

Nostalgia is one of the greatest enemies in sports discussion.

Nah Breh. I've Seen Kobe, I've seen Jordan, and I've seen Lebron. Lebron at his peak is better than neither. He CAN catch Kobe, he ain't catching MJ. I don't care how much stat padding he does. He's not a better player. If Lebron is cheat code. Jordan is the game developer.

I will give you the Mavs and somewhat the Bucks...but the Jazz even after the Lakers dynasty was over never made it to a final until Hakeem started to slow down...until Barkley got Flabby..lost to a young Sonics team...they was suppose to be next up..

Every superstar on Malone level in the west made it to a final before he did other than drob

Drexler
Hakeem
Barkley
Payton

My point is, the 90s deserved better. I wish penny and Shaq played together longer. I wish Charles was able to leave in year 5 rather than bytch his way out in year 7 to have a teammate like KJ. I wish Kemp didn't get flabby. I wish Ewing didn't have to depend on old Harper, Doc Rivers and Starks to be his teammates. Those teams had the potential to be great, but they were just good and not as good as what we saw years prior

The Jazz made it because the quality of the 90s wasn't as good.

How are you going to say" everyone got flabby and that's why the Jazz made it" when you're biggging up teams from an era when "the Jazz made it?" :krs: That defeats your entire argument.

That was in response to you downplaying the sonics team..that 96 Sonic team was better than the Jazz

And yes that Jazz team is still better than any 80's Laker team beat in the conference finals..other than 86 Hou...

The EXPANSION argument is the dumbest one YET! As if the teams suddenly were drafting terrible 1st round picks because of they expanded.
No...we are talking about the teams they faced and they were good, not great.

Honestly.. you just goal POSTING... because you cannot admit you are WRONG about Lebron and who he had to face in previous final games...

So you trying to change the SUBJECT. Talking about... but the 90's overrated... talking about expansion teams..while defending your 80's era YET they had way more expansion teams to emerge in that decade... ignoring that fact. Trying to say.. bu- but that's the LATE 80's despite it was the the Pistons that dominated during that EXACT period....

You are throwing bullshyt excuses... disregarding the fact that the NBA game of today gotten WEAKER due to sensitive fouls calls, euro-centric style playing, and players lacking the HEART that players once had two decades ago and prior....it's all about lucrative contracts and not about TEAM ball anymore with the exception of the Spurs. This eras of basketball is WACK with this year's playoffs being its wackest in a long time... and you want to talk about expansion teams.... FOH.
