. Lebron didn't over think his shot. It was Leonard who took away his spacing that Lebron needed to comfortably release the ball in good form. Lebron couldn't even post against Leonard nor beat him to the bucket. It is hard to score successfully when a defender is sticking tight on you
His crazy ass wingspan. One of the best defenders in the game and it helps he has someone like Duncan shadowing as well. He makes Bruce Bowen look like a scrub. I hate how good San Antonio is. It's not fair.

It's like the advance version of the Hawks with better players. Probably why they are the advanced version of the Hawks. Their ball movement is crazy good but their players also make the right reads more times than not and consistently. That talent with that system. Coach Bud really ringlead them boys with that system he created with Pop. That shyt is like Duke's system on steroids.

Diaw can get even better next year. Look at the improvement they got from him and Patty Mills.
Diaw should be an Allstar with that footwork and vision he has in the post. He's got the game of a 90s big man. :mindblown: At how he is a bench player and hasn't been utilized more, he plays good defense too

He's in a perfect system for his talents. He's not even in shape. Diaw with his Suns days talent with this team and system could have been a star.

That's why I want the Hawks to draft Kyle Anderson. Not because I love him, because I don't but his skill and talent with our system will see that he doesn't become a bust and becomes a star.

Great thread. I was thinking the same thing after the game. The completeness of his game hurts him at times since he is NOT a scorer like most superstars.

He has the ability to carry a team scoring but hes always looking to pass. I feel like hes hot for a while and then he gets some guy wide open but the guy catches the ball like:dahell: you killin em and then takes some awkward shot lol

Breh, they're the better team and Miami is gassed. Going to four straight Finals takes its toll. San Antonio has whipped them twice and the game Miami won was a close one where LeBron went nuts.
your gonna try to put a asterisks on game 2 but not game 1? The heat had that game in the bag, they were playing like the better team the entire game up until that lebron injury, they didnt know how to react to it and just collapsed. You can't be serious rn

Its hard to imagine the Heat losing this series if he would stay more aggressive getting his own shots
it gets boring watching him just try to make the right play every time.
He does tend to over think sometimes, but overall he's naturally not aggressive.

im starting to think his cautiousness and becoming absent for stretches is to his lack of an ability to create in the same sense a player like kobe can relative to his ability to hit his little pull ups and that pick and pop the heat run with him a lot etc. he would rather to score that way vs to create. hes not as multi facted and doesnt have that same bag of tricks to create like that. he wants moreso to have those easier looks and get more efficient shots off but that perfectionism can be a weakness.

he has guys that are supposed to drain 3's. Ray, bosh, rashard all of em. they missed a few while on their run. lebron knows what he's doing, but sometimes i wish he'll just go all out and take a billion shot attempts

You dudes are sticking with the untrue narrative of Lebron being a mental midget. The Spurs clogged the lane and Leonard individually disrupted his shooting form. His teammates should had picked up slack. Wade is the one who deserves the criticism more than any player in this finals. He played lazy defense last night and was being too passive in the first half.

SAN ANTONIO SPURS NY DIVISION
I said this in the heat thread...

The nikka has spent time guarding 3 different Spurs players at various point....Running thru screens and all

He running the point, he playing small forward, he playing power forward as well..

And he is still getting shade thrown..:why:

He is slowly getting burned out....

Wade isn't getting half the hate and he spent like 20 games in street clothes... And he is still for the most part ineffective...

That team completely shuts down Bron goes to the bench

I used to be a bron hater, he gets my respect...

He would be the ultimate fool to take a paycut AGAIN...

He almost helped lead the Suns to the Finals as a 2nd option back in '06.

That was the year Amare was out because of the microfracture.

Of course Dirk went nuts and the Mavs beat the Suns in the WCF, but Diaw really emerged in that series.

I remember thinking "Maybe the Joe Johnson trade wasn't that bad after all:ohhh:"

Yeah, one thing that is startling this series...is just how nonathletic and ineffective wade has become on the defensive end...used to be bron could take the number 1 scoring option on defense, wade take number 2, and they could lock in and you were just done...now...wade is so bad on defense...dude couldn't even guard danny green...gave him a little head fake at the 3 point line and green is going to the hoop with wade not even trying to recover...

When Leonard caught fire Spo didn't even try to put Wade on him...

Wade out here letting Boss Belli come off screens and shoot wide open shots...

I still remember in game 5 of Indiana how ineffective Paul George made Wade look...just locked wade down...dude couldn't take two dribbles without picking the ball up...

Bron is just slowly running out of gas...
