first off priest is an O.G. with an appearence on a classic 90s album. - nothing to do with rap skill
second; priest first appearence on wax is as heralded as nas verse from verbal intercourse. jay elec has no classic debut appearence nor does he have a verse as heralded as KP's first. - exhibit c was jay elect's classic debut, also more heralded than anything KP ever did
third; Jay Electronica is a hippocrite and hasnt even fully blossomed in the industry. newer artists like saigon and papoose and joell ortiz took years before they even attempted any commercial stance or what we call "selling out" - how is he a hypocrite? still has nothing to do with what he does on the mic.
jay elec went from riding puffy, to SOHH posting, back to the underground to then mysteriously appear aligned with puffs good friend jay-z. - once again, nothing to do with rap skill
soon after releasing exhibit C he was rewarded with a mountain dew commercial. -
you guys tell me what artists in the game were given PepsiCo. commercials with literally buzz off one underground single which actually demonizes the standards. -
then we have his "jim jones kanye jeezy" diss on that one song from years ago, only to have him 180 and big all those artists up. - never heard that song but if true, it was a smart move to make that 180. still doesn't make him less skillful of a rapper
now take into account his twitter history (which he deletes) and you have the makings of an industry plant. - really breh?? i delete my twitter history too
