I'm 5'11

Back when I was in college I was ~135 at race weight now I'm 160 and I still went to the track with my friend from the Army a few weeks back and beat him every rep on a 2X800 4X400 4X200:manny:

Damn you light bruh!!! :damn: Yea you prolly would dust me in a long distance race,that muscle mass slows you down a bit,but I'm cutting down for the rest of summer until October to about 195-200, I'll time myself then and let you know how I do:demonic:

Had to be to run that much:yeshrug: Started running in 6th grade and went for 10 years :wow:. Got up to 100 miles a week for a while, even 115 once:bryan:


But I'm slowly building up, I had to do basically a year of rehab, my entire posterior chain was fucced and I had tons of muscle imbalances when I stopped running.. and after that I was super light, like 125:mjcry:

After that I went February - February I gained 30 lbs up to 155 and since then did a mini cut for a trip to Florida now I'm going back up.

Hope to level off at 175 :ehh: Seems like the best weight for my frame and still being quick for sports:manny:

Yea cardio is definitely important,and being to big can affect it somewhat, but a few more pounds wouldn't hurt you,you'll always be better than average even if you slow down just a tad bit.

I'm 6'5" and years ago when I was about 250-260 (have a very large frame) I ran a mile in the 5:30s, ran two miles for my PT test in 13:08, and ran a 5K somewhere between 20-21 mins. Now that I'm out of the military and in my 30s, and about 315 lbs :to:, the other day I ran 4 miles at an 11:24 pace per mile. So ashamed...

Around 8 mins and a little change for a mile

Currently 6'7 247 my girl made me run a 5K with her a few weeks ago. That training was miserable and I commend ya'll who actually enjoy running. I do not unless a football is flying above, a basketball is being passed around or an ice cream truck with bomb pops is within chase.
