what skills exactly? kobe is better in the post. other than that, lebron is better than him at pretty much every aspect of basketball. and all of those are skills, scoring, rebounding, assisting, blocking, defense. the only one really even arguable is scoring but that's just because kobe is specifically a scorer while lebron is more of a facilitator.

edit: kobe might be a 'better' shooter, but how much is that worth?

I mean skills, as in actual basketball related skills. Kobe had better handle, Kobe had better footwork, kobe is better jumpshooter, Kobe was much better offensively and had the second best offensive aresenal ever. Kobe is better at the game of basketball than LeBron, LeBron is just a more dominant game impacting player.

No years, you fukking retard. The point is, rings don't determine a player's ability. Jesus... That is all Kobe stans rely on, rings.

Rings don't matter yet the only reason you nikkas are talking so much shyt is because the Cavs won a ring yesterday. Y'all are so stupid I swear.

My iron knee, I can't take anyone serious that generalizes. Quote the post where I said rings is all that matter, if anything, I have said the complete opposite in this thread. I even joked on that retard for suggesting that. They do matter to certain extent but it is not the end all of determining the worth of an athlete. Only someone that hasn't competed would think not having a ring or medal means the athlete is terrible and not comparable to others in the sport that have won championships, especially in a team game. I think you need to stop posting, like that other retard in this thread grasping at straws. You fukkers are obviously victims of the US current public education system. :mjlol:Just read one line, assume things and respond with nonsense.

So why even bring up shaq in the first place?:jbhmm:
WAS I REALLY THE FIRST PERSON TO BRING SHAQ UP IN THE DISCUSSION??? I was replying to what someone said about Shaq with what I noticed about the Lakers fans I usually come across. I don't know what the fukk you are alluding to but my goodness, you won't stop. If you want the last word, go ahead and respond with some more nonsense and I will let it slide. Deal?

Conversation has been a wrap for a while now. Lebron is clearly better. Kobe is one of the GOATs but he'll go down as a Chinese knockoff version of Jordan and a placeholder between he and Lebron. Sorry Kobe stans.

all jokes aside. when I was coming up, I noticed one thing that all championship teams had and that was one MVP caliber player and at least one other All NBA caliber player and one All Star level player. Celts had it for years. Lakers had it. Even Barkley's Suns had it. most teams had that. One of the few teams that didnt have that was Dream first Rockets chip. but that team had some highly skilled and consistent players.

this year you have GSW who has 3 All NBAers. OKC who has not one but TWO MVP level players. Spurs who have an aged but high IQ core with All NBAer Kawhi and All Star LMA. Bron had that with the Heat...though they did sign those 3 guys and put together a rag-tag bunch of scraps that they could afford.

most of the time you need that combination. Lebron has been the exception to that rule. It should be taken in highest regard because the Warriors were one of the greatest teams in history. I think their main strength was also their weakness. They have a lot of good players and an MVP but if you take just one of them away, it could mean the difference.

Spurs in 2003, GOATcan only all star on that team, manu and Parker were rookies and Robinson was on his last legs
