I pass through that area on the way to one of my job's distribution centers in Roanoke/Haslett. I know that is apparently where a lot of bread is. What's the deal with the football there? I know Stafford went to school around there and that Kershaw went too.

But just being from Texas. You know that the Southlake Carroll gimmick spread offense killed Texas high school. They won multiple state championships of that gimmick shyt. Basically changing that landscape of Texas high school football and forcing every damn high school in the state to adjust to keep up with the bullshyt.
Now every Texas high school game is a fukking shootout.

Yea you don't need to be as skilled any more on defense because offenses are going to score anyway. Fundamentals are lost and scheme has taken over.Naw

Every QB and WR can put up stats. Mond is a young guy and may be ready in time, but breh looks like he needed to sit 2 or 3 years
Buuuuuuutttttttt he's familiar with that system so he can make enough plays in practice and then you just hope his running translates to a high level in college. You don't know until you know.
Guys like Reggie McNeal/Vince Young coming out of HS you could tell they were beasts

Outside of Peterson and Talib. The rest played right in the heart of the Southlake Carroll era.
Now its about all these spread guys about who is for real or not.
Sadly, we don't find this out until they get to the NFL. Because a lot of these spread QBs are now overhyped in college.

I think this is where the lack of top notch offensive coaching has helped defenses in Florida.
Don't get it twisted schools in Florida try to do the same stuff as well. But its just not as crisp as the offenses do in Texas. This allows for a more physical brand of football to take over and more emphasis on those defensive players meaning mean and physical. You actually have a reason to be skilled because you can actually stop some of these guys.
