Better record before they fired their coach after a slow start and hired that bum antoni. It completely went downhill then. Trading starbury and starting barbosa with amare injured? :scust:
How nash gets credit for that turnaround is amazing to me.
Not to mention :flabbynsick: penny and gugoliotta:scusthov:

Nobody mentions the key additions the suns made and amare being fully healthy with joe johnson and marion entering their primes. Nope give the credit to nash :camby:

The suns werent smelling 60 wins even if everything came their way.

Nash was because of that.

He didn't deserve any MVPs. It's a complete joke that he has one MVP, much less two.

15 ppg for an MVP?

thank you.

@blackestofpanthers why dont you do the math yourself and tell me what a 12-22 record plays out over 82 games :francis:
So teams never go on runs? They started 8-13 before 'antoni became the coach. We might as well start the playoffs at the all star break since teams can't get the entire season to play. Just project their wins and get over with it, right?

You're basing your projections on literally absolutely nothing but the hope they would 'go on a run' :heh:

I mean you just said this

With marbury the entire season they probably win 46 games or more. Would that kind of improvement warrant an mvp award? Nope.

You're clearly dead ass wrong and were speaking out your ass

If amare is healthy and starbury there, they could have made the playoffs again like the year before. I don't see how that's talking out of my ass when they already accomplished it the year before. The suns overreacted to a slow start and fired their coach which made things even worse. The whole point is that nash isn't completely responsible for the turnaround. You gave him credit for improving them by 30 games without looking at the entire picture of what happened the year before. Take everything into account and you will see I'm correct.
Injuries
coach fired after slow start
Antoni hates starbury
The good thing about that year is guys like joe johnson and barbosa got a lot of experience which helped them grow quicker and contribute to the success of the team the next year. But hey let's give steve nash the credit for a 30 win turnaround without looking at all of the factors of why they were in that situation in the first place.

So westbook doesn't deserve consideration this year? :francis::francis:

By your strange logic, Whats more impressive...

Being the 8th seed in the West or Being the 3-4th seed in the East?

Getting wins out West is 10x harder then the East
And still the 8th seed will have more wins then the 3-4th seed in the East

The 8th Seed Heat right now would be the 13th seed in the West, and thats without them playing all those West teams. IF they did, they would be the 73rd seed.

Logic...
nikka what, Westbrook has made the finals lmao

You can hate on Steve Nash all you want but outside of Stat that team was trash. Had a 3 year stretch where he was avg 40/50/90 18pts a game and 11 assists.

That Suns team didn't even have the best record in the league; 4th overall and nine wins behind San Antonio.

Nash was awesome, but Kobe clearly had a better season.
they were 2nd in the west without amare.. and 3RD overall
