I agree, I think Shaq should have won in 2005. I think Nash should have won in 2006 though. That Suns team lost alot, were being written off and won 55 games

Bron had a great season in 05-06 too, he carried bums to 50 wins

Lets just not act like Nash wasnt right there in the top 2-3 discussion both seasons. Its not some huge travesty

I still think Kobe deserved it over Nash because he was having a better season individually and Kobe's supporting cast was worse than Nash's (even without Amare). Kobe bringing that team to the playoffs in the West was a miracle in itself. He was clearly the best player in the league.

But I'll always say that Rose deserved MVP in 2011.
I dont even take people seriously that say he doesnt

Had a better record than that stacked Heat team, and the Bulls were riddled with injuries

Like I said, it wasnt even a discussion at the time who would win MVP, Rose had 113 1st place votes, next closest was 3. 3, breh.

Hell, even Bron endorsed him for MVP.

It's not a tragedy giving him the 2005 mvp title, or maybe like give it to shaq, but 2006 was definitely not the year for nash. Kobe put up prime Michael Jordan numbers while leading his team to the playoffs. shyt is terrible and in general mid 00s nba had some fukked up shyt, particularly obvious biased reffing.

this is what dudes are forgetting. It's hard as hell to average 35 ppg for an entire season. And still gave 4-5 assists a game. That season from Kobe was one of the best ever. Other than Jordan, nobody in the modern era has done better.

That Cavs roster in '05-06 was the Dream Team compared to LA's squad. Odom would have been the only player on the Lakers to crack their rotation.

Big Z, Larry Hughes, Flip Murray and Drew Gooden were all better than anyone else on the Lakers. Hell, Big Z himself was better than Odom.

I'd say equal at worst. Spread the floor really well and was a decent rim protector. More consistent than Odom.

If LO would have stayed focus then yeah, but he was very inconsistent. You never knew if you were going to get 21/15/7 or 7/6/3 from him. At least you knew what you were getting from Z every night.

Nash didnt deserve any of them. The suns best player was amare. :yeshrug:

When nash didnt have amare all of a sudden he cant even make the playoffs. but when amare left to NEw york, he had one of the best seasons of his career. :yeshrug:

I think linsanity proved that dantoni's system made good PG's look GAWDLY :yeshrug:
