why would rappers do anything about eminem when many of them dissed her themselves.

Because he's white so it's much different for him to slander a black woman.

He got way too comfortable real fast. I know as soon as that racist tape surfaced I was done with having any respect for him but he had already been so embraced by not only hip hop but the whites that I think everyone saw that going against him would actually be the career ending move

Now he's still spewing racist shyt and no one even cares or notices anymore. And the way he runs Shady is real suspect too. Signs Yelawolf and Slaughterhouse on the same day. One act has a huge buzz and the other is only selling to the yeehaws. He puts Yelawolfs album out immediately and makes Slaughterhouse wait forever and then ruins their album with all his demands.

Probably because they are just as racist as 80 percent off you all in here. :yeshrug:

That's not true.

Blacks can be racist too brah. But yeah, fukk Bieber's bytchass
This is why I hardly come to the booth. Y’all be letting these cacs and agents blend in and say the most outlandish things without checking them. That honky ass cracker @Finelli felt big bad and bold enough to write all that fukk shyt as one of first posts in this thread, defending his Devil-like race of people. @mson with his alls white folk ain’t bad now :whoa:
You motherfukkers who don’t align with the pro black mentality need to bounce and leave us alone. These forums aren’t for you, clearly.

Brehs let Eminem claim he Elvis plenty of times. That cac knows excatly what he is saying. Calls himself a rap God. Has been quoted as saying he was alienated by the pro Black era of hip hop. It's also around the time he made those racist tapes... He was doing demos in the basement he wasn't a kid. He's an ego maniac and control freak. If the sway interview should tell you anything it's that this cac is a liar. He can't handle not getting his way.

Honestly...and unfortunately:snoop:

Commercialization of hip hop in America allowed for this. Had it stayed an underground form of entertainment at parties, there’d be far less money in hip hop. But since it’s gained notariety, you have the powers that be (old white men in America) calling the shyts, influencing, etc.

That's not a pro black message. What I said was right. Even if you don't know at least one good white person personally. You don't have to meet every white person on this planet to know some of them are good people.

Usher, Dr. Dre, T.I. etc these are people that sign and push these vultures and they aren't old white men... It's always convenient to act like cacs are the only ones with power to make moves but vultures need the nikka stamp of approval to gain access.

Post malone is another one who is major right now talks infinite shyt about the genre and still has space in the culture. who's to blame?

I'm not saying Eminem should've been let off the hook, but it's not different, which is why Eminem didn't get much if any backlash for what he said. Eminem was signed by Dre and Interscope. Both Dre and Interscope have a long history of pushing and promoting degrading images of Black women. While I do think Dre is a musical genius, he still had a hand in a lot of negative stereotypes against Black women even if he was being used as a pawn to do it. It's not just Dre and Interscope, but a lot of artists in Hip Hop that contributed to it, which created a culture that made it acceptable to disrespect Black women. That's why it's no surprise that Eminem got little backlash for what he said. And people will say it's respectability politics to say that Black rappers are partially or largely at fault, but those same respectability politics were used to justify dissing Black women: if the Black women that we are calling out of their names respected themselves, we wouldn't be referring to them as anything less than women. C Delores Tucker called it out and she got degraded in the process.

I don't think you understood my point (and maybe that's my fault, it was early when I wrote it and not really fleshed out :snoop:)

If you are talking about "modern" hip hop... Usher Dr. Dre. T.I... you've missed my point

What I am saying is that once hip hop became mainstream in general (late 80s) that is when vultures began to creep in. Once monetization happened. When hip hop was just house parties and break dancing, and no money, it was black exclusive. Once it got tied in to the grammys and TV and videos and money and clothing etc. you can't expect rich old white men to not have their hands in it (which they do undoubtedly)

Once the money started coming in, the gatekeepers changed. If you think Dre or Usher or TI are actual gatekeepers...then you're wrong. They have bosses and their bosses have bosses and those are usually old rich Jewish/white men.

Bosses can monetize and leech but they don't create the direction. Hip hop got monetized early yet the fans and "culture" kept the white intrusion in check for a long time. Vanilla ice failed because the people rejected his deposit. Nowadays the people accept it. The old white execs always been in the background but they couldn't move the culture only tap in to feed off of what was bubbling now they can actually steer the direction. All these white publications being the go to outlets for rap media is relatively new and so are the white artists being a general thing as well as them fighting to say the N word. We saw it bubbling with people like V nasty and Slim Jesus... as soon as cacs got a narrow in and more access on the artist side they started showing they ass. Now you have cacs like 6'9 and lil pump talking bout nikka this n that and they have Black fans. It's not just rich white men to blame.
