what does the image you posted mean to you? I want you to really articulate yourself.
To mean it symbolize what i think is a sad and forgotten argument when it comes to all these silly gun control laws, passing gun control laws is not going to take care of the bigger and REAL issues, high rates of violence within the certain communities. Communities with gang members ( such as the ones posted in the photo) and drug problems. Its also sad that it took a issue like a mass shooting in a suburban school to get this ball as dumb as it is really rolling. When you have black and Latinos getting dropped like flies each and every day in place like Chicago, new Orleans , dade county, Newark , Philly, Camden etc etc
You want to address a disease , start with the symptoms

Exactly Criminals aren't gonna turn in their weapons.
Trying to ban assault weapons when they account for a small percentage of gun related deaths is ridiculous.
An outright BAN. They are not even talking about making assault rifles harder to get, but banning them outright.
Who does this help? I just printed out the forms I will need to get my gun license. This is scary serious and it is just the beginning.
Where I live they want to mandate that everyone has to see a licensed psychologist before you can get your gun permit. I'm looney, so I know that a psychologist will not clear me.
Just kidding.It went from needing to see your Mental Health records, to now proposing that you might be crazy without a mental health history so you need to see a psychologist.

Proliferation of guns is not a problem. It is the solution.
Guns have always existed in this country. In the last 20 years something went totally wrong in America.
You can speculate on what went wrong, but mentally people are not well.
The guns did not shoot up a movie theatre. The guns did not make that man take the lives of those babies. It takes a really sick person to do those things.
Like I said, the guns were here before, so why wasn't this happening in the 70's, 60's, 50's, 40's, 30's, 1890's?

I didn't say no one died by gun before.
I am saying that killing random strangers, just for the heck of it, is pretty new.
