lol, just because jay says it's a freestyle doesn't mean it is one. That's like when a athlete make a weak performance and say "Oh it was just for warmin up or just for train". When you're jay z you're not supposed to make excuse or not give your best on a overlooked album like Ross' is.

The fact alone that is pointing out that's it's a "freestyle" (and that shyt means nothing anyway) is a sign of weakness

At one point even his features in r'n'b tracks were better than this, and it's not like he had to prove anything on this type of tracks

exactly..lmao jayz gasses his fans like nobody i've ever seen..anybody that believes this was a freestyle can hang themselves

Drake cos his tour made more money than Hov's

his album sold more than both WTT and BP3 too
Ducktales both of them, WTT >>> YM album, BP3 >> Drakes album. If we talking WW it's even nastier. And as far as tour go .

Jay just sold out 8 shows in NY in 1 day.

The sales are pretty irrelevant, when Jay sells more concert tickets in 1 day in 1 city than certain nikkas favorite nikka sells cds in 1 week all over the world. Jigga stays funding your welfare checks

As soon as I saw dudes avi was Life is Good I didnt even waste my time reading his drivel. .

Gator King , don't even address me.
I'm only addressing young Nas stans, discussing with you dudes is like trying to discuss the constitution with with Bin Ladin

Why don't you try addressing the message instead of the messager? I mean you don't have to but just think about it...

Abusive ad hominem (also called personal abuse or personal attacks) usually involves insulting or belittling one's opponent in order to attack his claim or invalidate his argument, but can also involve pointing out true character flaws or actions that are irrelevant to the opponent's argument. This is logically fallacious because it relates to the opponent's personal character, which has nothing to do with the logical merit of the opponent's argument, whereas mere verbal abuse in the absence of an argument is not ad hominem nor any kind of logical fallacy.

I agree with all of this 100%, Jay was the GOAT in my eyes, but when you really think about it, KC was ehh, and BP3 wasnt that great either, and I thought WTT was extremely overrated.

TS is right about Nas still sounding hungry, Jay is complacent. But hey what do you expect who doesnt care if the nets go 0-82? I feel like after Nas dropped this gem of an album, Jay-Z HAS to come back with a classic. I know he has one more dope album in him, its just a matter of does he want to make it or not.

Gator King you keep saying ad hominem not realizing this is music we're talking about. Its all opinionated. Dude can say Jay-Z deteriorated and someone can say NO Jay-Z in fact is better than he was before. There is no hint of ad hominem in these posts its simple exposure of what media tactics these clowns try to use on us.

The main issue here is the glorification of these dudes. Theyre simply glorified poets and where having heated arguments about them like it even matters. Whether you think Jay is the GOAT or Nas is the GOAT you will still put your pants on one foot at a time. It doesnt change your day. Everyone agreeing Nas is the GOAT does not effect any physical aspect of your life. So why does it matter? Why does it always have to be Jay-Z vs. Nas? Its like a wrestling match you dudes can never let go of that you want to relive over and over and over and over again. Let it go. Breathe Easy. Gator keeps saying its ad hominem but check it: dude did it to himself. His avi is Life is Good which from hindsight already spells some form of negativity against Jay-Z if a thread is about him. Then as I'm actually reading the post, Nas has to come up in the topic. Why? That shows his motive was to compare the two and not analyze Jay-Z's deterioration (which I believe is moot). He simply masked the thread in order to talk about how better Nas is instead of actually talking about Jay Zs deterioration lyrically.

There is a strong possiblity this happens...The leap from Nastradamas and QB's Finest to Stillmatic can partially be credited to the excellence of BP1... If dudes are competitors stuff like this DOES matter...We don't get BE without people telling Common he had fallen off and been lapped by Mos...As a fan of hip hop I hope he feels his ego is bruised enough to get back in his zone...

No way wack ass BP3 is better than Take Care

Listening to Jigger doesn't make you rich, you broke ass fekkit.

How did you feel when he told you you couldn't walk in his daughters socks

or how her room is more expensive than ya life??

disgustya
BP3 sold more than Take Care, which was your original point. It obviously wasn't as good.

Listening to Jigga doesn't make me rich, having rich parents technically makes me rich though .. But thats' beside the point, It makes me feel like I need to cop those season tickets to the Nets so that his daughter can cop even more socks :takedat:

BUT BP3 was a classic (Nas stan imitation, calm the fukk down)

You can't help yourself

:snoop:

Let me try one more time...

Him having Nas in his avi isn't ad hominem...Hell.. Him being Nas' pops isn't ad hominem...You pointing it out instead of addressing his argument is...And you're right.. Music is subjective...So that makes using ad hominem arguments even more impractical...

You'd be more justified telling the thread starter "You're wrong because I said so"...

I'm not picking on you.... This is how 95% of the debates on message boards are handled..

Lets try to be better...

jay z has detoriated. he is less concise with his lyrics, whisper flow, nothing interesting to say, whack euro beats. its sad. jay is a legendary talent. but he has lost his purpose. he is like Nas was during that I Am and Nastradamus era.

You gotta love the Jay-Z hate threads when Nas drops an album...

I love em just as much as the Nas lost threads when Jay drops an album.
