So now that you're an adult and have some knowledge about the game, how do you honestly feel about your mom's choice in your father?

Did he have good genetics? Is he a dumb ass? Broke? Etc.

Honest opinion, did she hit a home run or strike out?

Now tell us about your pappy.
I think mom chose well regarless of how much of a scumbag my dad has been. Me and him are on great terms now, he apologised for all the absence and because I turned out ok i have no reason to be resentful anymore. :yeshrug:

:manny: my mother choose my father. They had their up and downs but they made it work. I love him for the support and love that til this day he gives me. He’s not perfect but he has tried his hardest to be there and as an adult and parent I appreciate his struggles.

He was that guy in his town
had is own band and following. ran in the streets but was still educated. put all his brothers through school. when he goes through his hometown he is greeted like a dignitary. he is held high in the community and he has cared for many. my father is a solid dude and his character doesn't waiver. generous, disciplined and stern. always been fashionable in any era and could pull women into his 70's... still fit and handsome. never egotistical.

now let's talk about yours

have a seat. the doctor is in today

was your father at home? supportive?
I already posted about my father in this thread. Keep up while you're trying to be cute.

My mom hit the lottery. Pops was a local celeb, made a lot of bread when he was younger. Genetics are great. My father’s side of the family was middle class.

He was just gonna a lot when I was younger up until the age of 12.

My mom was perfect for him though, he needed someone to hold the household down and not give him any problems.

My grandmother chose my dad for my mom. She saw that he was hard working and disciplined. So I’ll say my grandmother made a good choice.

My parents are divorced now though.

Man, woman, and child
My mother chose great. My pops was a country boy who loved from western MD to Baltimore after hs and worked factory jobs to support himself. When they met she was a young teacher from the hood and he had just become an electrical apprentice. Over the years he ended up becoming licensed. Both of them are good solid people. The man taught me how to use my hands to fix shyt around the house and the car and how to box. He made sure I was in sports year round and never missed a game from kindergarten to my sophomore year of college. He just turned 71 and brags about how he still doesn’t have to take medication for anything
