Ok, lets play this game. Of all the college players that have been to Kansas before under Bill Self, this kid is the 1st one that he gives that rope. Is that what you are saying?

Lets not do this. Self himself is showing that he isnt on board, but is doing his best to not say anything bad about Peterson. And I respect that. Peterson (either himself or with help) is deciding to make these decisions.
Who else could have done this post-NIL? This is only happening because of NIL.

Self isn't a victim. Bench him if what he's doing is a problem.

I'm saying we don't know the specifics of the deal between Kansas and DP.

Bookmark this, quote it,do whatever to remember this comment on this day.

Right now his stock is dropping, not much because he'll still likely be top 3 pick.

His camp is gonna have him keep doing this for the rest of the season, once tourney time comes he's gonna play full games and DOMINATE while Kansas makes a run for the title and his stock gonna shoot right back to being a #1 lock.

Watch it play out just like this mark my words

He’s not trying- yall had this same outrage over Flagg who also, was not trying.

Peterson has taken it to an entirely new level but it should have been clear he wasn’t taking college seriously when he committed to Kansas- this just tape for him. Plus I think he may on that Mike’s secret stuff because he’s shown all the symptoms but that’s slander and I won’t go further on that, either way this is overblown.

I’d take him #1 off talent alone, but you should absolutely be wary about his commitment to the game or if he’ll try to finesse a franchise for a bag then coast. Either way he’ll sleepwalk to 20 a game in the nba, Acuff is the better player right now but that height makes him too much of a liability- although I think it won’t effect him at all, my 1 and 2 for sure
Acuff better than who?

It doesn’t work like that imo. People thought the same thing about Ben Simmons and look how that turned out. The same nonchalant, always looking for an off-ramp mentality at LSU was the same mentality he had the rest of his career.

Either you love to compete or you don’t. Dudes who love to play can’t turn it off.
It’s not a love of the game thing..someone just posted a video today of Melo saying the kid loves basketball and has a great work ethic. Gilbert has said the same thing. He’s listening to his dad that whenever you feel discomfort come out the game. The NBA is two months away

Melo also said he wasn’t coming out the game for nothing in college. He didn’t even want to miss practice. If it’s that easy for DP to duck big games/high ranked teams and sub himself out of games, he’s not a competitor.

I said back when they got him that UK giving all that bread to a nikka that got ACL surgery in March was dumb as hell.
His pops complained about the offense and he’s had knee soreness ever since. I’d rather a kid do what Darryn is doing than run off with the bag like JQ did.

Simmons biggest gripe at LSU was that he couldn't make a dime to his name and was forced to go to College then the League.

Darryn's camp knows hes a a #1 or #2 pick talent wise, and just don't want to risk him getting injured and dropping. Is the possible penalty for load managing worse then an injury? Idk, but they seem to be betting the house on it. Nerlens Noel was the unanimous #1 pick in every mock leading up to the 2013 draft and breh tore his ACL in Feb and look what happened.

Jalen Johnson and Shaedon Sharpe hoed nikkas way worse in college and look how they turned out.

none of them got paid in college right? they were looking out for their future. the good thing with NIL and players like DnP is you get a close up look at the type of player that would take your millions and fukk off. if an NBA team thinks these players are going to change their ways when they get to the pros they will be in for a rude awakening.

Shaedon Sharp took Kentucky NIL, and literally DnPed the entire season.
