Shaq was 3rd team in 96 :ld:

David, Scottie, Karl, Penny and Jordan were first team

That has more to do with the strength of the centers then than shaq not being top 5.

if you ranked the best players in 96 it would be

jordan
d rob
shaq
dream
penny

in 95 the bulls also faced shaq and penny

He was 3rd team, there were 10 guys who were ranked ahead of him.

You need to stop marginalizing the game into layman's. It's not as simple as it doesn't matter if he doesn't provide offense, he can just rebound. You've got to first look how his lack of offense is affecting the game against a team which can generate points at all positions, on both sides of the ball and if his rebounding activity not only gives them an advantage (if it makes up for what they lose in offense) but also what it does to influence other areas.
Meanwhile every team left in the playoffs features a guy in the starting lineup that is subpar offensively and is only on the court for their defense/rebounding. Biyombo wasn't a starter until Vallanciunas got hurt but all the talk has been about how much money that he has made in those 2 games against Cleveland, why? Cause of his rebounding a defense. He's still raw offensively. Whether it's TT for Cleveland, Roberson/Adams for OKC, or Bogut/Ezeli for GS they all play guys who don't "provide offense". So the idea that Rodman couldn't play in today's league or would be on the bench in a fantasy matchup featuring those Bulls against these modern day teams Is just stupid.

you know those are positional rankings and not flat out the 10 best players in the league, unless you want to tell me D jordan is better than kd, green, lilliard and a slew of others because he made all nba 1st team this past year

KD has an MVP.

KD should've been 1st team this year.

but back to the point, Shaq was 3rd team in 96 partially because he missed the 1st 20 or so games that year. People still considered him a top 5 player despite missing those games.

Just because Adams can do it doesn't mean Kukoc can :wtf:

You stay making up shyt, it's ridiculous, how do you know he moved better laterally? Anthony Davis moves better laterally than either one of these guys and he couldn't stay with Curry, you know why? Because he didn't have an elite shot blocker like Ibaka in the paint or a 7'0" SF to rotate over and contest shots.

Plenty of other teams were bigger than the Warriors as well, you have two absolutely dreadful scorers in that lineup that don't need to be accounted for (Rodman / Harper)

Homeboy exposing himself kukoc defense sucked.

And remember when nikkas said that physical illegal defense of the 80s/90s wouldn't mean shyt against the Warriors? Okc roughing these nikkas up and they Kant take it. I'm still rooting for the Warriors to prove themselves but it might really be over for this season
They were a flame that got put out. A healthy physical team will always beat them in the offs :yeshrug:

That's not what I said at all.

And you're argument for Rodman is horrible considering this is based on how he would fair against this Warriors team.

Rodman would be doing 20 rebounds a night and the offensive boards and extra possessions would be invaluable.
Especially all these long rebounds from this soft jump shooting league

:whew:
