And for some reason, we take pride in that shyt
Not all of us....The bourgeois and uppity negroes look down on that kind of thing. The conscious on thd other hand are aware and understand.
Put it like this....the hip-hop being promoted in itself isn't necessarily fukking up the youth, because the youth (of every generation long before rap) have always found something to get fukked up off of.
...but it sure ain't helping.

main reason not a public enemy type group has never reemerged...

if it ain't helping it's hurting.

Nothing will be done about that as long as liberals continue to make accountability a dirty word.

Doesn't make it deserving of being singled out. Moreover, an argument could be made that it's also helped i.e. brought people together, is fun, turned the otherwise violence-prone youth to gifted performers, etc.

it does need to be singled out, it's the vehicle being used to glorify and promote Black on Black crime and the destruction of the Black community.
these "gifted performers" can't seem to perform anything other than songs about selling and doing drugs, disrespecting Black women, and murdering Black men, and this shouldn't be singled out?
