Damn, just done watching that Devin Hester interview and it makes me realize how influential Lovie was to these guys off the field. :wow: Lovie is a great man and human being, and I hope he succeeds somewhere else. I know I called him a clown earlier, but I still wish him the best.

Watch this video Bears brehs:

Hunter dropping that knowledge again

:ooh:

He was the only coach Hester has ever known. That's why he's crying. Plus lovie pushed management into paying Hester $40M by vouching for him as a #1 WR.

Of course Hester gon ride for lovie. He got him paid. Meanwhile jay cutler like :manny: @ the situation given those trash offensive #'s throughout lovies tenure.

Ok but only made the playoffs once in that timeframe as well :leon:

But cats in here are talking like he had a run of losing Seasons...

Some things just didn't bounce his way...

Like I said... I'm not against the idea of wanting Lovie gone... but you don't let a decent HC go without a homerun already in the pipeline... that's my issue...

We're really out here naming names like Nick Saban? :heh:

We had a run of mediocre seasons and hot starts that resulted in us missing the playoffs.

Front runner seems to be the OC from Denver, who we apparently sent out feelers about a few weeks ago.

So frustrating... :steviej:

We do need someone more Offensive minded though... just don't think there's anybody really out there... :to:

Denver Broncos: Mike McCoy

During his NFL coaching career, McCoy has overseen six individual 3,000-yard passing seasons from his work with Panthers quarterback Jake Delhomme (4) and Broncos quarterback Kyle Orton (2). He also has been involved with the coaching of four Pro Bowl selections, helping Delhomme (2005) along with Broncos tackle Ryan Clady (2009) and wide receivers Brandon Marshall (2009) and Brandon Lloyd (2010) earn NFL All-Star honors.

After the 2008 season, Mike McCoy was hired to be the new offensive coordinator and quarterbacks coach of the Denver Broncos. In 2009, then-Broncos QB Kyle Orton enjoyed a career year under McCoy, posting career highs in virtually every passing category. The following year, the Broncos passing attack ranked seventh in the NFL, and Orton ranked fourth in the league in passing yards per game. McCoy revamped the Broncos offense in 2011 to accommodate Tim Tebow's skill-set, and the Broncos led the NFL in rushing.

McCoy is considered a hot commodity because he directed the Broncos to the No.1-ranked rushing offense last season with quarterback Tim Tebow and No. 5 in passing this year with quarterback Peyton Manning.

look, if dude went 9-7 every year and never made the playoffs, he would have got fired still. owners ain't gonna tolerate not making the playoffs when they are spending money for talent. especially since they were making moves that lovie wanted them to from a personnel standpoint.

Seems like only true Chicago Bears fans and Bears fans that watched all the games understand why Lovie was let go..

He was a good coach in two aspects 1.) His defense was awesome... 2.) His players loved him

Its sad but that wasnt enough to win, I still think we couldve won that superbowl wih someone other then Rex

But yeah the Bears need a new philosphy

They started 7-1...

And missed the Playoffs. Think about that

so?? games at the end arent worth more than games at the begining. if they went 1-7 and then finished 10-6 that would be better?? plus they lost Cutler, nikkas acting like they had a healthy team. this firing was staight cism but Rex Ryan keeps his job SMH

Uh, yeah, because instead of collapsing they would have pulled it together in spite of the many injuries to the team. It is obvious you don't watch any Bears games.

It makes me wonder why you're here...

...oh I see. To say THAT. :snoop: Carry on.

you cant expect to just play the same with all those injuries. Bottom line it wasnt Lovies fault.

Bottom line it wasnt Lovies fault.

The shytty offenses 8 of his 9 years weren't his fault?

The bad OCs he picked weren't his fault?

Having a shytty o-line, and then promoting the o-line coach to offensive coordinator isn't his fault?

The conservative play calling wasn't his fault?

The bad timeout management and horrible challenges weren't his fault?

Horrible in-game adjustments isn't his fault?

Being 19-41 against teams with .500+ isn't his fault?

Losing to the Packers 6 straight times isn't his fault?

this firing was staight cism but Rex Ryan keeps his job SMH

I couldn't give a fukk about what the Jets are doing. Because they keep a guy they should get rid of we should do the same? :wtf: We're supposed to follow the lead of a team that traded for Tim fukkin Tebow....the same summer they signed

to an extension :kobe:

We've only made the playoffs once in the last 6 years, 3 times his 9 years here. It was time for a change.
