Op what you're considering is part time. There was a poster on here that would lie like crazy. Would get a job for 3 weeks or so before they found out and fired him, kept doing it until he found a permanent position iirc

I used to be one of these people that was like, nah never lie on your resume.

Until I saw my boy do the following:

Took a 2 month course on QA
They made a resume for him with 3 years exp
He studied interview questions like crazy for weeks
Started applying, got phone calls and interviews on a daily basis
Did so many interviews he eventually broke through and landed an 80k job
Now has 2 years exp in the field and he's only getting better.
Before that all this fool had was CVS and AT&T experience.

After that I was convinced the only way people get these positions is by lying. Now he's in IT and tells me Indians stay coming here from all over the world with ZERO experience but they land 100k jobs all the time.

The job market/interview game is all about lying.

Brooklyn keeps on taking it.
This job I want requires me to have 3 years work experience using this computer program that I only used in college but never in a work environment

I know the basics of the program & probably can get better if I practice in my spare time.

Would I be wrong if I said I have experience using this program in a work environment? My current manager I'm close with, can probably back me up if they need references

most people lie on their resumes. Just know the consequences before you do it and ask yourself are you built for it.

I lied on my resume a little over the past year which was pointless cause I end up getting my job through my high school friend.

Me and the bros had a hustle where we’d use each other as references. I lied for my boy and said was his supervisor, he told me what I needed to say and I executed.

And once you get into a position with some clout, you realize these cacs are winging it just. Like others have said the game is the game. When you black we gotta work twice as hard

If you dont lie, you defintely wont get the job so you may as well lie, kill the interview and hope they dont fact check you. Im some industries, they most certainly will call the companies you worked for, your references or request a transcript. Dont listen to these nikkas. They dont do it all the time but they definitely do sometimes. But lie broski. :yeshrug:
