Would you stop comparing this to other things. It won't work because the only goal is to make good music.First off, "anyone can do" that is the biggest bullshyt ever. No the fukk they can't. There's very few people who have the talent to put words together and make it lyrical. what the OP did is by no means lyrical. I've never seen a rapper that wasn't very good lyrical (Minus Pac, and that's because he's dead) be considered a GOAT. There's a reason why nikkas like Future will never be up for debate as one of the greatest, regardless of how good their music sounds.
And that has nothing to do with lyricism not being a criteria. Just because some artists focus on one thing more than another doesn't mean the things they don't focus on isn't a criteria. That logic doesn't even make sense. Defense is a criteria to play in the NBA, just because you're successful at scoring, doesn't mean you not playing defense isn't a knock against your talent or skill, because it is. A major one. Just like not having the ability to put words together on a high level is a major knock against your talent.

And what the OP did is what a lot of heads consider lyrical.
Future won't be up for debate for the greatest by who? People that don't like his music in anyway. No one cares about your list or rankings
And yes any one can sit down and rhyme big words together and write metaphors
Just like the goal in basketball is to stop the other team from scoring, just like making RAP music is to convey a message with words. Rhyming well is a criteria for that. And you can compare these two things because they correlate.
And not even Future fans would rank him as one of the greatest all-time rappers. Don't be disingenuous for the sake of arguing. It's corny.
And rhyming big words is not lyrical. That's the thing. You and the OP are saying shyt like "Dominated eradicated eliminated demonstrated physical illustrated" shyt is lyrical. IT IS NOT. Rhyming big words together doesn't make you lyrical. Conveying a coherent message (Whether it's a story or you just saying how you feel) using compound syllables and similes and other literary devices in a GOOD way is being lyrical. And writing metaphors is simple, true, but writing GOOD metaphors is NOT simple. At all.
Eat a dikk breh, it's an example not a testthe shyt in the OP isnt even lyrical![]()
