Actually, if anything, Timmy is coming after J.R Smith's spot...

Everyday, Smith's antics seem more and more like the antics of an expendable man rather than that of an integral part of our team. The thing is, I still have these pipe dreams of a focused J.R & Timmy w/ Melo playing the 4 in a small ball line up going into the Half killing teams at the 3. :blessed:

But...from this point forward, it's about consistency & predictable product...

Let me say that again... PREDICTABLE product. which means, as much as I like Shump...there is nothing we can say for sure he will contribute other than a mixtape...so...

If the right offer comes...

Phil likes all three, he's going to test them to see if they are endearing to their roles on the team.

I'm certain he likes Jr and Shumpert more than Timmy.

It wouldn't surprise me to see the Knicks lock up Shumpert on a below market value contract.
