You guys killing me with this cap crippling nonsense and trying to justify how losing a top 10 player who just been putting up his best seasons for cap space and draft picks. The draft is a damn crap shoot it gets us no closer to winning a title . Melo plus reasonable talent is a top team in the east as we just saw a season ago , but this tank and draft pick nonsense is. I'm starting to think people didn't watch during the bad years when we routinely seranaded other players with MVP chants hoping to draw then here . This is a star league and losing a star for uncertainty is horrible , have a plan b if melo decides to leave but money better not be the issued when people were saying it's just money resign Lin bull . Melo and a decent team in the east is our best bet
Players far superior to Melo have taken less to win they realize one player making all that money restricts whatt you can do to the rest of the team and unless you have Lebron most players arnet good enough to overcome that
Melos a great scorer with flaws and hasnt proven he cna be the main guy on a chmpionshp team if you want to cripple the cap for that type of player that we differ on how to build a basketball team

I think Phil realizes Melos a great scorer but has flaws and isnt the ideal person to build around so either take a paycut or take a hike

There is so much wrong with this post I'm not even sure where to begin, but:
How will we not have one of the worst teams if Melo leaves. He had his best statistical season ever and according to advanced stats was responsible for adding 10 additional victories in a season where we only won 37 games. Whose going to pick up his scoring slack Shumpert
, Smith
.
attitude about the whole situation
