I quit on my birthday last year....best decision of my life.

I quit w/ 15K in my bank account...by October I only had $1,500 because I tried a few things on my own that didnt work. Losing that money really put me in hustle mode though. My account is good now, and im making more money than I ever have. I feel good about the future.

What you need to do is get your monthly expenses low so you arent so pressed for money. Then I would sit down and think about what you really want to do w/ your life. You must dedicate all your time to improving yourself and getting better at your craft...the fukkery must stop.
Drinking on Saturdays? Nope!!! Watching Tv all night? Nope!! Waking up late? Nope....you gotta grind and be serious about the come up.

The internet is a great thing because you can learn anything you want...and do any kind of business you want.

A lot of people say they want that kind of life...but few are willing to put that work in.

Real talk self discipline is the key..... But damn u blew 15k??.. I've never touched or made 1k

bro my best friend from college just did this....making a 65k salary at a large ass company that sells furniture.

he is traveling to NYC, California, overseas and just grinding......i admire it

life is short, man.

he always tells me to read "the 4 hour work week" and "choose yourself" -- i didnt yet but if you got no kids, and no major mortgage...just be happy......you can always find another job.

my plan is to get out of debt in less than a year so i can travel and be free and not a slave

Every single day and it's even worse in the summer. I live two blocks from the beach. I come to an office with no fukking windows and sit here for 8 hours. A couple of days ago I was done with all my work by 1:00pm and just got more and more pissed off thinking about how I could be at the beach instead slowly dying and rotting away in this fukking office. I hate it so fukking much and it is legit one of the reasons I drink. We were not meant to spend 5 days a week spent in an office staring at a fukking computer screen. I'm on the list for the FDNY and I have a great list number and I'm looking at going in sometime spring 2014 if all goes well and I stay in shape. But until then I'm stuck rotting away.

on the plus side though, I am halfway to the 25 stacks in my money market account goal that I set, and in about a year i'll be able to quit with 25k in my savings and move to europe and be a fukking janitor or something.

Spent 2 months looking for the best fit, during that time i fell in love with the city of Houston. Came EXTREMELY close to moving there but got a call right before i did for a job offering way more money in my hometown.

Best job i've ever had, incredible money, easy work, time flies. Only problem is it aint Houston

If you're going to quit, at least make sure you have some semblance of your money right, or a REAL plan outside of just hating the job.

nah breh, i love my work week . i love sitting here staring at all these screens for 10 hours a day and accomplishing zero . i love commuting, waking up at 530am so i can take part in the cattle stampede onto the trains and subways . and the trip home is even better when the a/c doesn't work and it's 90 degrees and muggy out . i especially enjoy when there are delays, too. then i only get to see my kid for about 20 mins before she goes to bed . on saturdays and sunday i find myself lost in my longing to get back into it all again on monday morning.
