This a no brainer. Eat up to 6TB worth of HDD space. I'm eating with a 4TB HDD, I don't ever have to be concerned with my storage space. Especially with all of these free monthly PSN games.

FYI. The Nyko version is garbage and doesn't work with sleep mode.

So all I do is connect that and I automatically have free HD space? no taking apart the ps4? Sorry, my knowledge on this is limited.

I'm still rocking with my 500 GB HDD. I don't really download big games, I get 95% of them retail and when I'm done I delete the install. I never dip below 200+ GB of space.

shyt is quick and easy. Just follow the directions carefully. Anybody can do it, takes no technical skill at all.

Unscrew a screw
Pop the top off
Unplug old HDD
Plug in new contraption with new HDD
Boot up PS4

You have to buy that and a new HDD separately, which will cost you in the $100 range depending on the size.
