I agree with @Gil Scott-Heroin

We need to see Kawhi perform like this in the playoffs

Since the 2014 NBA Finals he's been pretty ghost. He disappeared against OKC last year and the Clippers in 2015.

I wouldnt say he disappeared against okc, he just didn't ELEVATE his play. His averages was good BUT it was basically on par w/his reg season numbers. That aint gonna cut it this post season.

He will be more offensive minded this post season as he is the CLEAR #1 option unlike the last few seasons

Just a question. Should the Spurs have giving up Danny green and some other scrubs for Demarcus cousins? You know, since the kings were giving him away for anything. The only way I believe the Spurs could even beat a warriors team in the playoffs is if a another superstar steps on that court

Nope, Cousins and Spurs aren't a fit and I doubt he would humble himself even for a coach like Pop.

Spurs thrive bc they find players who fit exactly what they do, no need to change something that's worked for decades. Gotta respect them for that

No it doesn't. Derrick Rose and Tim Duncan are hardly big personalities. It's about what you do on court. No knowledgeable basketball person is picking an MVP based on personality or a storyline

That's why no one cares about bum ass Tim Duncan while Kobe will be missed for next 50 years

Kawhi deserves it. I think Harden or Westbrook gon get it tho.

All 3 been puttin in serious work and uppin their game this season, especially Harden. I ain't gonna be too mad if one of them 2 beats him in the MVP race.

Tim Leger just said something similar on Sirius XM this morning....that if you HAD to nitpick on his game, it's that he could improve as a playmaker and increase his assists more. But like Legs pointed out, that's EXTREME nitpicking and if he never does that it's okay.

Also talked about how Kawhi's improved his scoring consistently every year, and his fg%, and his 3pt%, and THEN this cat shoots 90% from the charity.

Personally, I always thought Paul George was gonna be what Kawhi is now, too bad injuries robbed him of that chance.

PG in New Orleans with AD would work almost TOO perfectly.
