I'm a manager at my job and we have a program that if we suspect people on our team are doing some of the things yall talking about, we can get a quick view of their computer activity hr by hr.

I've already fired 3 people since we been working from home. The juelzing when I show them their activity captured is hilarious

Seeing some of the comments in here just validates what I already suspected about the folks I supervise who WFH. People want to do their own thing on company time.

Lol don’t even need this kinda app. My job says “try” to respond to important messages/email’s within a hour. Anything important they’ll call. I don’t even turn my work laptop on alot of days.
:russ: Same, ain’t nobody checking on me like this. I’ve been idle for 2-3 hours with no issues and it’s been like this since I’ve been wfh at the start of the pandemic.

Damn, I've been using the caffeine app. I'll delete my shyt today.
I use caffeine as well, as do a lot of my coworkers. The problem here isnt that he was using a mouse jiggler app, its that he was literally doing nothing like missing every meeting since he started the job :heh:

i wrote my own mouse jiggler application. to stop me being logged out of the system every n-mins of non-use. the vpn login procedure was slow and fiddly.

why go through that every time you take a toilet break, prepare food, read a book (for work) etc?

it's simple. have an endless loop and shift the mouse cursor 1 pixel in each direction (up, down, left, right) and back to original position each loop period.

Yea he's a dumbass. My new job is mad laidback. We work hybrid so we typically report in for meetings and the job atmosphere is composed of us all sitting around doing nothing once the work is finished.
