Apartheid South Africa and Israel coordinated very closely with each other. Israel helped them with testing of nukes.
They saw the PLO and the ANC as sinilar groups who undermined their legitimacy.
The South African government's yearbook of 1978 wrote: "Israel and South Africa have one thing above all else in common: they are both situated in a predominantly hostile world inhabited by dark peoples."

No its not. people need to stop being loose with using this term. its an insult to the real victims of apartheid to compare their oppression to that of the arab terrorists who have no interest in peace and who are religiously mandated to destroy israel.
