One married breh at work legit told me this. And not even in a sad way, more like a :yeshrug: way
Dude was like, "My wife doesn't want to work anymore. She worked for 9 years, and she's tired of it. I guess that's what she wants. That's why I'm working overtime" :yeshrug:

Then another married dude joined in the convo like "Ask how much money I have on me right now :skip:. None, cause my wife controls my money"

Then another joins in saying "She controls everything, and knows my bank info"
Dude said how her wife wants an exercise machine called Peloton Bike. shyt cost like $4000. He's like "This is what she wants, I gotta give it to her"

I'm legit standing there like :mjtf:

Never understood the money thing. I pay stuff that's in my name and my lady pays anything in her name. We each have separate checking and savings accounts plus one joint account that we both deposit money into.

Simple and easy....people make shyt too complicated. Couples should live together for an extended period of time before getting married. Work out the kinks several times over before committing long term.

were these cac men? Cuz I’ve only heard them talk like that.

I’m engaged and ain’t no way in hell im living like this. But hey, some people are scared to be alone so I let em have it. :hubie:

My co-worker ordered a 9 dollar meal at Subway and was yelled at since his wife monitors all purchases and gets an alert on the phone...told him to take FLMA instead of daycare for their second kid, has to get permission to have a social life, had to wait to see Avengers Endgame....he is white, so maybe a cultural thing to just cave to an average looking woman....

Getting a side piece is the answer, worked for Tony Soprano....

Y’all gotta stop taking advice from miserable people.

For real. There is some validity to happy wife happy life but if I’m not happy there will be trouble for her so we work on communication. Talk everything out and make decisions through collaboration.

If your wife isn’t happy your life will be miserable so find a woman who isn’t an overbearing c*nt.

But to let my wife run everything? That’s auto-divorce. :picard:

:dahell::dahell::dahell:

Marriage=/=kids....

Even if you dont have kids in a marriage you'll still be on the hook for alimony

Same with kids, you can take all the precautions in the world but one slip up and one uncooperative woman will have you on the hook the rest of your life

Brehs preach GMB so they can live an independent, free life. But the only path to true freedom is through a vasectomy. Then and only then do you truly own every part of your mind, wallet and body

Honestly, if you want to maintain a marriage. He's right. Reason why i'm divorced.
Just realize that every man that has stayed married, has only done so because he bends over backwards for his wife. on everything.
If you go into it thinking you can have her be subservient or even just compromise and make it work. You lost.
Not true at all bro. Every situation is different.
