They didn't know he had a concrete limit. They wanted to stretch out his starts so he could be fine for the postseason. That's natural for a guy who got TJ surgery. But Harvey gave off the mantra of being a competitor and bytched about not getting more starts. It got to the point where Collins told the media that Harvey needed to get over it. Then he blindsides them with this bullshyt. Nah, fukk that. And I have no reason to side with the Mets on this, but Harvey is int he wrong.

Breh, he just came from TJS. Going from 0-200 innings(he's never pitched that much in a season) after taking a whole season off to rehab is overkill to me. I bet Harvey thought The Mets were going to suck this year too.
