:what:

Why would you be so short sighted & dumb? You DO realize you have to pay elite athletes big money & what 2 picks would offset the loss of a top tier QB in his prime?

Thank god you're not a GM, your philosophy on QBs is bizarre as hell
first of all, kaep not elite yet

second of all, elite players are getting paid more, sure, but you cannot just get more just because youre a qb. thats the fallacy Im talking about. navorro bowman is an elite LB. in fact hes one of the biggest reasons we won that game against yall.

third of all, in all honesty, you do not need elite players to win anything in football. you certainly do not need to break the bank to win anything in football.

finally, Ill trade any player in history of football for 3 high 1st round picks. Id rather have three cheap good players than 1 elite player and bunch of bums
1 elite players and bunch of bums dont win in football;

pro sports is about business and value, every player has a price over which he is worth. paying a qb 25+ milly will cripple your team more than it will help you

oh and youre a fukkboi for calling me dumb. go fap to your qb

Explain how Aaron Rodgers is crippling the Green Bay Packers.
yeah because the packers have played many games after they signed that extension...oh wait they signed it this april :snoop:

nearly every big money/long term contract in american sports sans bball has been bad for a reason.

If & when Kaep gets to the level where he can command $25 million annually he probably will be considered an elite level QB. He's not getting that now as a 2nd yr starter

And fallacy? QBs ARE getting paid more b/c it's the most important position in the game. Navarro Bowman is a great LB, but he's not more important to the Niners success than Kaep is. In the NFL today, a LB is not more important than the starting QB

Third is a another backwards opinion. You DO need elite talent at the skill positions to win. "Breaking the bank" is a subjective phrase...I don't think paying your franchise QB 100 million over 5 yrs is "breaking the bank" especially when you can structure the contract to give your team more cap flexibility, which is the added bonus of extending on to these deals and giving more guaranteed money up front

Finally, you have a counter intuitive stance on building a football team. QB isn't important to you, youre against paying big money to your franchise players & you'd trade anybody who was up for a contract that was consistent with what top players at that position make. Real shyt you sound old & cheap

Paying a QB 25 million a year doesn't have to cripple your team, but being a disgruntled old man who doesn't think a pro football player should be making much more than minimum wage isn't an intelligent business model either

Ok Brady got 48 mill guaranteed in 2010. Peyton got 100 mill in 2004. Crippling.

Bowmans peak level performance will be about half the years of Ryan's. Probably a reason why Ryan is worth more.

Now we're splitting hairs.

These contracts are all about the guaranteed money- after year 3 generally they're adjusted. The Falcons nor the Packers will be crippled by Ryan or Rodgers contracts unless they were to suffer a serious injury- and if that were to happen they'd be fukked anyways.

lol at you using cheap hyperboles to try do devalue my point. i never said players should be makin min wage or any other bullshyt. all i said is instead being a stupid sheep and looking at the market you decide whether a player fits YOUR value for him. if he wants more, you let him go and get an underrated player. its a game of value, just like everything in business and life.

lol at being old or disgruntled. im 26 btw. plenty of players deserve their deals, but the qbs dont desever the 3x price. and picks >>>>> because you can build a cheap team via draft and get some more expensive FAs without going to cap hell

whats funny is that my point is clearly understood if you put yourself in my shoes and consider qbs just like any other position. after all youd prolly balk at giving aj green 25milly. but because you cannot fathom the axiom white media and the league tryying to be 'entertaining' has ingrained in your brain, you miss my whole point by miles.

keep fapping to qbs. trip is an expert at it, he can prolly help you

At the end of the day, one qb was FORCED to win a Super Bowl to EARN a pay day. And then received a Super Bowl MVP trophy to boot.

Another QB's only accomplishment is winning a single playoff game, with a career playoff record of 1-4 with 9TDs and 7int

Another one won waited til he won a MVP, Super Bowl & Super Bowl MVP

lol, you're acting as if myself or any other fan is forcing GM's to pay the quarterback. They're paying the QB because they see that as the most important piece to consistently having them playing in January. Playing in January = job safety. shyt isnt that difficult.
