MoneyBall is a concept of finding value in baseball. Again two different sports, two different economic structures
moneyball is a concept of finding cheaper products that are underrated instead of paying for more expensive
it can be applied to anything, its not really a baseball philosophy. again, ask HHR
Matt Ryan just signed his deal for a little over $100 million

how is that a made up number? You literally just typed some numbers and put a million behind it like it was a real number b/c you got frustrated that you sound like an idiot
fair enough, I missed that point.
Bledsoe got hurt, Brady has been signed to contracts worth more than 100 million dollars
Favre got traded to NYJ b/c he fell out with the organization, not because of contract demands. Rodgers just signed a HUGE deal & he's worth it
Montana got traded to KC, Steve Young got paid handsomely in SF & he was worth it too
you asked me about smith/kaep situation, all three qbs were groomed and replaced good qbs.
If you believe that not paying a player market value for his service makes sense you know nothing about economics. You can't run an organization not paying people what they deserve to make unless you're a cheap b*stard such as yourself who thinks the punter & quarterback should have the same pay grade
the market doesnt dictate what players 'deserve', players values relative to each other do. if every idiot in the country wants to drink beer today and I have to pay 50 bucks for a beer that doesnt mean price is justified.
in fact, you can see this with gas prices.
again a cheap ass hyperbole by your dumb ass
again, gms in every sport have made shrewd move letting overrated players leave for more money and signing underrated players for cheaper then they're worth. but I guess they dont understand anything about economics
