So Andre can bang out unfinished and loosely connected ideas on the piano, it's still art

Instruments is a sense of directional art. So, that doesn’t work in this instance.

Huh? But you can be off key and still be able to sing

Off key just means they aren't singing the right notes in the scale. Like if the song was written too high for your register, but you didn't transpose

Even the best singers can be sing off key. Maybe because they're out of shape or abusing substances. Maybe intentional at times

Even if it don't sound good, it's still singing. If not, what else is it? Which is all I'm saying. Something being good or bad doesn't qualify or disqualify something from being art

Art is expression. Music doesn't have to sound good

Critique is fine, but there's a way to do it without tearing someone down

Not like Andre was being arrogant and disrespectful to other jazz pianists. He never made the project out to be more than what it is. Him having fun on the piano playing whatever came to mind

He said it himself in his critique that Andre isn't a piano player. This is like a nba player going to the ymca and giving feedback to people who ball as a hobby. I dont think anyone expected a masterpiece but he said a lot and it did sound like hating
