100%I've already said the hate for Hammer from the industry was pent-up jealousy cause some of these clowns turned out to be the same things they "called him out" for
Look at the outsider perspective you’re coming from though. He himself said he got invited to every event that’s been had, which I’m sure is true, so it probably does feel like a big movement to have him participate.Yeah I don't think he's wrong for feeling like that but I don't recall anyone asking where he was, either. It's not like there was some big movement to include MC Hammer, as far as I seen.
Fred.

Bullshyt.
Who else did some embarrassing shyt like dancing for chicken in corny zoot suits and sequin outfits with the corniest looks and haircuts? LOOK AT THESE nikkaS!
"Excuses to not make Hammer seem cool" Hammer wasn't cool! We saw him as corny minstrelsy from day one. If he was nice, he may have gotte a pass, but he wasn't.
Big Daddy Kane came out rapping like no one before, he went too far left with the R and B. From one record on Long Live The Kane to almost half on Prince Of Darkness, which accelerated him losing steam. People told him not to, he did what he wanted to do, that's on him.
"If anything, dissing LL and Run-DMC was a great thing for all of them" ABSOLUTE BULLshyt. LL and Run-DMC were already household names and superstars. In that tweet, he admitted dissing them was some sucker shyt. That did ZERO for them, they were good already. Hammer got in his feelings and clout chased, and got dissed into oblivion because he couldn't dance his way out of LL and 3rd Bass (among others) frying him on wax. All his fault.
for 1... I aint never even seen a white person promote chicken on a commercial... but here are your examples

somehow its just fukk hammer for 30 years though
The Big Daddy Kane shyt is true from a career arch standpoint... but nobody is held to being blackballed 35 years later for simply "making R&B and loving women" why not hold every artist accountable for changing lanes and stop supporting them for the rest of their career. That makes no sense, majority of artists switch up eventually...most of the time its supposed to be a good thing. Not a 3 decade length of purgatory for a legend.
the 3rd Bass, LL RunDMC shyt was amazing for all of them because they needed the exposure... like people stated, out of the 4... maybe only LL and his crew were about that business. Regardless of who fried who on wax... Hammer responded like any artist should. If Hammer is rolling from Oakland 50 deep, why shouldnt he respond? wouldnt he be a bigger sellout if he just kept dancing and making cartoons. I dont see how him pressing Redman and these other artists is a bad thing. In the grand scheme, them dissing eachother just markets each artist and doesnt matter in the grand scheme of music or fandom. Its like saying Canibus should have ignored LL, why would he do that? would the optics or support be any different than now if he stayed quiet? Its extra money for everyone to respond and make controversy
