Getting closer and closer to a guaranteed income system

Everyone can't and shouldn't be an entrepreneur. And even entrepreneurs need workers. A CEO, a doctor, a marketing exec are all workers.I see superseded wages and people moving towards entrepreneurship. People would forget getting STEM altogether because too much, and getting paid too little in the age of automation.

Better off doing what? "Being an entrepreneur"? Most business owners are not rich, and are subject to many of the same forces as workers. If being an "entrepreneur" were easy... well, you would be one.Better off doing that than being the next Tony Stark and getting paid a mailman's salary. Doing all that, just to live average or even below average? Nah, people ain't gonna tolerate that.

Most good artists today cannot make a living off their art. That's not going to be any better for "basic" artists.shyt, I can see people selling basic art and basic services online to make a living in the near future. That's not far fetched at this point.![]()
What is the marketability of this? Are people really interested in buying food from glorified vending machines? They rolled out self-service automated grocery store lines like 25 years ago and it still hasn't "taken over" human cashiers, its just another option.
Theres a lot to consider before companies go fully automated. Less human interaction in service industries has a way of cheapening the perceived value of products.
Thanks I didn't have any ready examples. I just remember seeing the computer kiosks when I was a kid and assuming that was gonna be the future...20+ years later its still 2 self serve lines and 10 human cashier lines.Publix refuses to and they are basically the gold standard for super markets.

Same reason call center jobs still exists. People HATE dealing with computers if they don't have to. People like being catered to and they will pay more for it...
