The most important commodity is time. If all it takes is for me to drop $20-$50 for someone to spend their time and resources to produce Hidden Colors and deliver great content and quality, why do you assume I got pimped? That's our problem. Always counting how much it costs to support black people, but dont think twice when you go to a chinese spot and place $30 orders on rice for your family for ONE meal, knowing a big bag of rice won't cost you a fraction of that.

When Apple was a startup and they did fundraising, borrowing, etc to get it off the ground, do you honestly think every cousin or friend who donated get free IPhones? Anybody who gave money to Steve Jobs is what is known as an investor. Steve Jobs was not guilting people into making donations. He was presenting investment opportunities in exchange for capital.
Anyone who provided Steve Jobs with capital got part ownership of the company in return as reward for taking a risk and betting on Apple.
That’s how business is supposed to work. Does King Flex offer any kind of ownership or reward for risking your hard earned cash on his ideas?
That’s the con. He collects money as if it was a non-profit, but creates and sells the product as a For profit business.
You all finance his ideas for free and he makes all the profits. Then he turns around and sells you the very product you financed.

While I loathe this free $0.99 mentality that black people have, Apple was a poor example. At minimum, donors may have gotten stocks when they were worth virtually nothing.
Also, apple is a product and this conference is an event, which changes things quite a bit, IMO.
The value in crowdfunding is that it allows people to pool their money together to finance something that wouldn’t or couldn’t be financed by traditional funding sources.
If Tariq went to Bank of America to get a loan or went to a movie studio to make hidden colors they would have both said no, so we the community chipped in to finance its creation.
I put money up to get Hidden Colors filmed and released and he did just that which means he adhered to our agreement. If he profits that’s even better because it means he is gonna be in a position to make another movie in the future.
ADOS/FBA really do need to rid ourselves of the people in our community that are so psychologically scarred that a successful Black man offends them. White people can do the most underhanded shyt that bankrupt the entire damn country and these Black people say nothing but a Black man that actually produces tangibles and is successful is assumed to be defrauding the community.

The code is to always push for what’s in favor of ADOS/FBA and to ally, defend, and prioritize one another at all costs.
If you have a group called ADOS and one called FBA but they adhere to the above sentence then there is no splintering because they are pushing towards the same objective. See, you are still thinking like old times where everything has to be centralized into one mega group with one leader...obviously that doesn’t work since the US Government has no problem infiltrating any organization and killing its leaders.
In addition, this isn’t all about reparations, it’s about working together and uniting as an ethnic group. Our fates would change drastically doing that alone, reparations is just the cherry on top of the milkshake. To assume that Tariq is doing his own conference because he is in it for self gain is wack, what if he simply doesn’t like tone and Yvette?
