Regular people don't pay attention to credits but Meek brought a light on it and Drake reacted :yeshrug:

You can't be a ghostwriter if you're credited. That's literally what ghostwriting means :beli:

Ghost writing means someone wrote something, and you take credit for it. A writing credit means absolutely NOTHING if people don't know who you're crediting. Come the fukk on now.

Example: Sauce Money got a writing credit for the BIG tribute. The whole world knows who he is, his history as a ghost writer, and Puff more or less bragged about using ghost writers. No problem there.

In 2012 Drake's own camp....his producer 40 specifically....was talking about "if you get help with your bars, you don't need to be in rap". At the same time, Drake was obviously using a writer (Hush) on "Take Care". It doesn't matter if A. Palman was credited because #1 Drake was passing off the work as his own and #2 nobody knew who the fukk A. Palman was.

If you can't see the clear cut difference between the two examples I outlined....I don't know what to tell you. The shyt is not that hard to differentiate between.

Brittany "Starrah" Hazzard is a songwriter
She helped writing Jeremih's "Pass Dat", Rihanna's "Needed Me", Young Thug's "Pick Up The Phone", Kid Ink's "Be Real"

Drake stans I just have a question. What is it about Drake you like, he can't rap, can't write, can't sing, can't produce, and uses ghostwriters. The funny thing is Drake's male and female stans like him for the same reason, and it has nothing to do with his actual music:huhldup:

:dahell:

You don't have to know who the writer is. You're making up your own rules :dahell:

I'm the furthest thing from a Drake fan and I always call him out on here for using writers but you ain't making any sense:dahell:

So by your logic what was the problem with exposing the reference tracks? QM was credited on the songs, right?

That alone kills any confusion you should have. Why didn't Drake just say "well, I credited him"?

The shyt you're saying makes zero sense. If you claim you're doing it all on your own, it doesn't matter who you credit when nobody knows who those people are. If Drake's camp is talking about "ghostwriting is for suckers", why would anyone think any of the names on his projects are writers? You can't have it both ways.

I said a few posts back that Drake felt a certain type of way Meek called him out so he reacted. If somebody is slandering you, you're going to react. He even said shouted out QM on "Digital Dash"

He didn't slander him, he just said he doesn't write his own shyt. People doubted him, he dropped the reference tracks.

Again....if this isn't a problem because he credited the writers....why to this day to people assume Drake doesn't write anything? Because not too long ago Andre dropped a verse dissing people that use ghostwriters and the whole world assumed he meant Drake. So everyone but you seems to be clear on the distinction.

Matter of fact, fukk rap and Drake. Look at it like this. Let's say I come out with a movie....I claim I directed it. It's my vision. Every scene is my heart and soul. I say received no help from anyone.

In reality, you directed it. Do you seriously think, just because I put your name somewhere in the credits, that people wouldn't have a problem with me claiming your work as my own?

This shyt is really not that hard to understand, breh.

nikka what you're saying ain't hard to understand but you're still making shyt up. Writers are writers and artists are artists. It's not hard to understand

The fukk does that have to do with anything?

If the artist is claiming to be the artist and the writer then what the fukk good is a credit in a liner note nobody is going to read, when nobody knows who you are?

I haven't made up a single thing. I'm asking you very basic questions and you can't answer them. If all it takes is a writing credit, why do people assume every ghost writing mention is about Drake? How was the QM shyt a big deal in the first place? Because Meek "slandered" him? No, because he proved Drake got help with his bars. The writing credit did jack shyt to defuse that.
