Like I said, ya'll Fake Militants LOVE catch phrases and revolutionary romance languages while you put your fist in the air. Name a place where this romantic phrase has been practiced? I'll wait
You don't know we have Social Democracy in this country RIGHT NOW?!?!?!? :laff:

The minimum wage, maximum hour and child labor laws that go back more than a century are likewise "socialist" programs, in that the government intervenes in the capitalist market to require employers to meet minimum standards that might not be met in a pure, unregulated “free” market.

You really don't know what the fukk you're talking about :dead:

Work in Investment banking, operations management, financial advising, data analytics - any job that allows you to scale out. Working 60 hours a week for a year or two can set you up with 200K levels by the time you're 23 and after that you are no longer paid by the hour but on results and for your mind.

A large majority of the highest paying careers rely on value, and you get there by putting in the time when young. Denying it doesn't make it any less real.

There are so many delusions surrounding progress in the corporate world.

If you are the idiot working 60 hours a week, you will be the resentful idiot watching other people get promoted. You're more or less earmarking yourself for menial tasks where the managers are not too fussed about the quality.

The mind can only process so much in a day. If you are working 60 hours a day, your decision making skills will take a hit as will your ability to learn. You will also be robbing yourself of the ability to network. Ironically, these are some of the things you need to progress your career.

And note that I said "actual" work. When people listen to CEOs talk about working 80 hour weeks and all of that bullshyt, they don't tell people that elevator thoughts, attending conferences, travel and what not is included in those hours.

If capitalism exist under social democracy, then black business owners can exist under social democracy. Black business owners = black economics. :dahell:

Why work 60+ hours when society is likely to collapse in 10 - 20 years?

I hate how much we've rendered ourselves to become capitalist bootlickers and puppets. We should be trying to tear down this system.

THIS IS THE WORST EXCUSE.

YOU WORK TO PREPARE FOR THE COLLAPSE. OR ELSE, YOU'LL BE THE UNDERCLASS IN THE NEW SYSTEM THAT EMERGES.

BUY UP YOUR ITEMS THAT DON'T DEVALUE. BUY USEFUL ITEMS VS. VANITY ITEMS. BUY CONTROLLING INTEREST IN SOMETHING VALUABLE AND BE PREPARED TO CONTROL IT WHEN shyt GOES BAD.

THAT'S WHAT WE SHOULD BE DOING.

Kevin Samuels has said this before tho. Maybe this video is clickbait but Kevin Samuels has repeatedly in the past said if you are in your 20s you should be working more than 40 hours.

He said you can literally put in part time at 7/11 while working 40 hours at another job

I watched a bit of the video and he says that if he here younger again he would be working 60+ hours, working out at the gym, and building his network on his way to building wealth. That's not too far off of what other people bark here. I suppose OP isn't totally wrong, but the way this thread is constructed is not completely straightforward.

If you are doing 60 in a scalable job you'll just leave if you don't get what you want. The whole point is to work long enough so you can command the level of salary to set yourself free and/or create a business with the skills and connections you're gaining in the industry. We aren't talking about working long hours to give yourself to a corporation that ultimately rewards you with nothing. This is about working those hours to sharpen the skills that will allow you to make the kind of money where at 40, 50, or 60 you don't have to worry about how you'll spend your last days.

Since this SHOULD be obvious, especially to anyone who works in legit corporate structures - you aren't sitting around 8-12 hours a day making critical decisions. They aren't expecting 60 hours of "work". You're on the clock because it may take you 2 hours to do what it takes other people 5 hours to do. And you do it extremely well while knowing how to communicate your value. THAT is where working 60 hours or whatever gets you. That initial grind allows you to scale later in life.

My original post was about Black Economics under Capitalism. And you're now talking about..... Black Economics under Capitalism

Who gives a fukk about your goofy idealistic utopian views on your favorite type of Capitalism. Just like I said. Ya'll Fake Militants deviate from the original points to blurt out your favorite catch phrases and revolutionary romance languages to smokescreen the real discussions

Start competing with these CACS Economically. THATS THE MAIN POINT. And stop blurting out Karl Marx catch phrases like you a 10th grader who just started reading about him over the summer

You should work 60 Hours when you beggin your work life and managed your money so it gets easier down the road. Because of poor financial planning and High cost of living some folks just go through cycles and have to keep working long hours forever.

Usually people who manage their money well straight from out of high school will do the stress in their 20s and then move on to a high paying 40 hour a week job in their 30s.

Only thing tho I think men who work these long hours for female satisfaction are lames and idiots.

I work long hours cause 1.) I like what I do and 2.) I like money.
Unless you're doing something meaningful or something you really enjoy or if you have no choice, working an extreme amount of hours in your 20's and 30's is a waste of your youth. I'm not advocating for laziness. I believe in effort and sacrifice. However, I don't believe in sacrificing your youth just for the bag.

I doubt many ppl in this thread have worked this many hours but I've worked 60+ hours for 5 years. I had an office job and a part time job, nights, in my mid 20s. It was literally the worst experience I ever had. :wow:I was in pain all the time, I ate twice a day, sleep 2hrs in the morning/2 in the evening and had memory gaps. I would forget what I did certain days shyt like sleeping with a Bank officer at her spot, at least thats what she told me. I kept a notepad with me because it started getting bad.:mjlol:

I'm a natural loner so it didn't bother me that much but I rarely saw my family in this time period. I lost touch with all of my friends. The only thing I was worried bout was making money...I couldn't even enjoy the attention I was getting from women or spend the money I was making because I didn't have time. I even had to schedule my shyts.:russ: I feel like I wasted my post college 20s. And it becomes harder to build solid relationships as you get older. If yall don't care about your mental/physcial health, personal relationships or living life, work them 60+ hours.

I've seen ppl have mental breakdowns for far less but maybe you're an emotionally distance loner like me who can handle this type of stress:smugfavre:
