bullshyt...

you can get a decent workout in 30minutes...

average person spends much more time than that scrolling social media or watching TV

I have weights in the living room that I lift while watching TV with my kids

yall lazy fukks just come up with any excuse you can

I work out four times a week try again:russell:

The average person wakes up to go to work around 6 and and gets back home around 7. A person with live in kids also then has to attend to their family and kids after a long work day, money and whatever happened at their job. The Gym is completely secondary.

Sometimes. This is why you work out, so you can enjoy the occasional donut. You only live once, and it's not forever. Can't Chicken breast, and white rice your way through life.
I wasn’t even gon comment in here but my goodness I hate this mentality with a passion.

You ain’t doin nothing but stress eating. Had a tough day so hey ‘reward’ yourself.

Some of us actually don’t have a compulsive desire to eat shytty food. But that’s more a societal problem and what you were exposed to. Some of you grew up on that shyt and it’s a hard habit to break so instead of breaking it, you rationalize it

True, but having 1 cheat day every few weeks literally not going to kill you.

if you look at your health as a primary concern...

the gym will also be a primary concern....

i guess you just brought the main point home...

most people don't see their health as a primary concern until it's too late

or even if they do, they are too lazy to put the work in that is NECESSARY for a long, productive, enjoyable life

You should be in the gym by 25. No excuses. Honestly by 21 if you are smart and think long term.

Resistance training and some form of cardio. If God didn't make it, don't eat it. Keep your alcohol and weed usage to a minimum. Get 7-8 hours of quality sleep. You will be 35 feeling like you're 25 if you stick with these basics.

35 is late. Your T levels are most likely in the dumps already, that's why all these dudes whine about being depressed and feeling tired by noon. A lot of modern day dudes drink too much, eat too shytty and don't sleep well.

THIS. When you are 32 and people mistake you for a 23 yr while your other peers are the same age but look flabby n sick cause they didn’t take their health seriously 10 years ago from drinking and partying :whew:

True, but from what I’ve seen people who have a ‘cheat day’ mentality end up having a whole lotta ‘cheat’ days.

Ie if you eat McDonald’s 4 days out the month that’s not ‘cheat days’ that’s just a regular part of your diet

Trust me, I eat salmon, grilled chicken, and broccoli regularly but I done binges of not eating junk for months on end. Lets just say that my mood gotten grumpy by eliminating cheat days altogether :hubie:

What the hell are you talking about? Just because someone says “enjoy this” doesn’t mean they eat it every day, week or month. Y’all nikkas really need to stop with the assumption based emotional posting. And you seem to do it a lot.

This is exactly it. Mfs don't take it seriously until the doctor comes in the room with a clipboard and some bad news.

Lazy people getting dangerous surgeries and getting scammed with get fit quick schemes cuz they don't want to put in the work.

Even some of my family members say I'm doing too much because I count calories and weigh my food sometimes.

Yeah, your case is definitely not simple as there are overlapping factors at play over a sustained time frame in non usual situations and you know yourself best.

I would definitely suggest looking into the Thiamine as mentioned because a lack of gallbladder can effect uptake, digestion and vagal tone as everything is interconnected.

Out of curiosity would you say you were dealing with a lot of anger/frustration around the time these issues kicked in? It may not have been obvious or something long standing that came to a head. Just wondering for future reference and to build a clearer pic of your experience.

The sarcoidosis in liver is family related I just didn’t know since it came from my sperm donor side that I don’t talk too since 1st grade when I got diagnosed with it my mom reached out to that side and found out it ran in that family and here is the eerie thing when I got sick my brother and sister did too with MS and my brother got medically discharged like I did literally a day after me and I got diagnosed with my liver disease in the same hospital I was born in Germany cus my mom was in.
Um no I wasn’t dealing with stuff like anger and frustration when the initial pain happened and bloodwork test then gallbladder but after all that happened yes I did deal with that had to go to therapy 5x a week plus marriage was falling apart when I got sick but it wasn’t the cause tho the anger frustration happened once I got all my diagnosis not before
As far as thiamine I eat the food for it and have taken it nothing really changed but regardless of things I still try to eat healthy and workout
These past 2 years have been the best for my blood work since all this started tho so there is that
What I did learn was they said I probably always had the liver thing it just never manifested itself till that time the other stuff that came after was a unfortunately something caused from the surgery for bile obstruction whatever the Italian docs did caused it
Or i just have sarcoidosis in liver not with fibromyalgia and ibs
I’m a unique case I even have severe sleep apnea and sleep with a machine got diagnosed with it at 18 and don’t fit the profile for it either

Fresh donuts is shytty food now? It’s not the healthiest, but a lot of them taste great and there is nothing wrong with eating a donut every now and then
Breh don’t even waste your time. Dudes like him don’t understand nuance. Notice how he brought up stress based reward centered eating and childhood eating habits and an inability to break them out of nowhere? He constructed an entire scenario in his mind all because I said “you only live once enjoy that donut.”. Like if you said “yeah breh have a beer it ain’t gonna kill you” his mind would automatically say “alcoholic”. His thought lack cohesion so it’s either all or nothing in his world.

Often the things that manifest in the physical are often asking for attention in the mental first. When they don't get it the body finds another way to protest, usually by illness, pain or impingement of motion. Its all quite symbolic really. Just a side thing I've been researching for a while so thanks for the response as its helpful for testing my hypothesis.

I would highly, highly recommend getting a supplemental form of Thiamine in your case. I really do get the feeling you'll find it a dramatic benefit with nothing of detriment based on my intuition. Its cheap and effective and based on your situ I'm quite certain you aren't getting enough from food sources.

Let me know what happens if you try it.

Eating a donut every now and then is the complete opposite of "compulsive desire"

At least try to accurately respond to the post you're quoting.

Eating shytty food every now and then and still being able to be healthy doesn't change the fact that the food is shytty nutritionally.
